I hate the look of the v3 they look cheap to me I've heard there good but for me looks has to be no.2 and I don't rate them. (Says me rocking CSR elite pedals) but I'm going to wait and see your review of both to decide cos those pedals look amazing only thing I don't like is the load cell box placement I would prefer that to be hidden or just behind the brake
@LaurenceDusoswa3 жыл бұрын
Yeah I don’t hate the look of the v3 but they’re not as nice as these. You don’t like the electronics box placement on these. It would be easy to hide under your rig if you don’t like it.

geat video i love the look of them they have to be the best looking ive seen. cant wait for the comparisson video oh and great taste in car
@LaurenceDusoswa3 жыл бұрын
Haha thanks :) they’re lovely looking pedals. I can imagine someone preferring the look of the sprints or the fanatec v3s though. I think they’re stunning and form and function just seems to be nicely balanced. I love my car yeah haha, just wish o got to drive it more these days. Stupid covid...

I have these and love them. Needless to say I can now skip leg day at the gym 🤣 Oh... the load cell spring on my throttle broke after about 3 months use. They sent me 2 replacement springs no charge 😀

That’s SWEET! great service from them. Hahaha yeah you need to alternate legs when braking though 😂

fantastic review, great looking pedals. completely agree DIview is not a easy software to use.. had to use it for the HE HB.

The description for the calibration is too complicated. actually you just have to give this formula: Center = (Min + Max): 2
@LaurenceDusoswa3 жыл бұрын
It’s still complex :) it shouldn’t be difficult :)

Certainly another one of those products that you look at the price and go "what?!". But even despite that, the looks, the damn looks - I haven't seen a device like that, let alone a piece of simracing gear that impressed me so much. The raw machine like appearance with all the exposed regular nuts and bolts and the simplistic, just the essentials looks is truly marvellous to glance upon.

Yeah it really is gorgeous. Great description of its looks! You wanna write some scripts for me?!? 😂😂😂

Cool pedals. I really like how the control box is mounted. It has to be really hard to make something like this function silently. I’m not looking forward to using this calibration tool. I think the HPPs use the same thing. It looks like a nightmare. I’m an ease of use kinda guy.
@LaurenceDusoswa3 жыл бұрын
Yeah it doesn’t need to be silent, just no annoying noises that irritate my wife :)
@MRDEEGAMING3 жыл бұрын
This would be class if it could be done. Put the software from the H.sprints onto the meca and you have probably the best set-up sub 1k the H.sprints look easy to use in software wise but harder to handle from the meca. And the meca pedals look way better IME. Still a hard choice but like you said once there calibrated that's them done. Hopefully they may bring out s better software for them because they will be the best set of pedals on the market???
@LaurenceDusoswa3 жыл бұрын
Great comment! Yeah I have to agree with lots of what you say. I’ll give my full opinion in my comparison video in the next week or two
@cameconomou70372 жыл бұрын
How do these compare to the HE Ultimates?
@trevz10482 жыл бұрын
With better software these would be something to consider definitely but as they are its just not good enough at that price,good review as always so thanks for that.
@LaurenceDusoswa2 жыл бұрын
They're pretty amazing but yeah, software would make them even better. They did have a beta calibration software at one stage but I don't know if it was released
@MAX19911113 жыл бұрын
are these better than Hydralic pedals? such as He ultimate,simtag,racework and ricmotech pedals?
@LaurenceDusoswa3 жыл бұрын
I cannot comment as I haven’t tested hydraulic pedals here. Also, not all of those you mentioned are hydraulic. Sorry :) wish I had a better answer for you

Nice review, but I think you should have shown footage of actual use, rather than just a cinematic presentation. I believe that it would allow for an easier mental project on what it feels to use them.

I would highly recommend Niels Heusinkveld's video where he explains how a load cell works and shortly talks about the misconception that the load cell value gives an accurate indication of the actual pedal force: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/iauHpbenntqUnoE.html

was going to go for these pedals until I saw the software side, that has made me decide to get the Sprint pedals instead, the software side proves to me lack or experience and yet to be long term proven, at this sort of price I need some long term confidence, they do look sick but I think a risky investment
@LaurenceDusoswa3 жыл бұрын
I have been using them for month now and absolutely love them!
@SURG3NT3 жыл бұрын
@@LaurenceDusoswa yes no doubt they maybe better than the Sprints, I just think they sound a bit to complicated for me to invest my money in, such a hard choice but thanks for this vid, absolutely great information 👍

I have been using software called 'Whitemagic Joystick Gremlin'. One of the features is axis response curve and dead zone configuration for axis inputs. I use it on my Fanatec CSL Elite with Load Cell Brake as well as other devices. I invite you to try it on your pedals and see if you can achieve similar functionality to HE Sprints software. Joystick Gremlin is what I'd use if I ever buy pedals with no software. whitemagic.github.io/JoystickGremlin/ I'd love your feedback.
