If you wish to watch a video with wondrous work, I plead you not to seek it here. These few minutes are full only of the dire, dastardly, and deplorable. For this is the tearful tale of a tiny house built from trash.
In this Series of Unfortunate Events, we pay homage to the late Aunt Josephine by crafting her humble house atop the hill. May she lay languid with the leeches of Lake Lachrymose.
So sorry I forgot to include a warning in the video, but in the final shots there is a section with flashing lights (lightning) so please be careful, thank you and huge apologies for overlooking it!
Ahh yes, back with another project that has taken almost two months because it was super difficult and I decided I needed to shoot my own version of the movie for an intro. This has been said too many times, but next time I'll calm down a little and do something less complicated... maybe.
Cool people that have sent me projects!

The movie was my first introduction to the series so I might be a bit biased, but I too kind of prefer it to the netflix series. Everything from the atmosphere, the enviroment building, the costumes and even the choice of actors was simply nailed better. The only flaw is in the story, but it's hard to fit even just 3 of the 13 books in one hour and a half. This said, I'm in loss of words from how much I love how this turned out!

I know that I am over two years late to comment, but I agree so much with your comment. I was first introduced to the movie when I was about 3-4, and much later the series came out. I just prefer the series because the costumes, actors, and how it showed all of the book episodes instead of just the first, second, and third books. But to each their own 😊

I love the movie more too! I just feel like everything from the deaths to the character interactions were done better, especially since they were done with less time. Also, just felt like the movie had it's vibe figured out better. The show misses the mark just a little trying to mix comedy with tragedy.
@MechanicalFiend

For sure, even though I think the movie would have benefited a lot from having more time for the story (if only they made a whole series of movies... one can dream haha), they really captured the atmosphere of the story world so well. This is incredibly cool!! And makes doing miniatures look very approachable, I've been wanting to start but I've felt like I'm going to need a lot of things that I don't have. But you showed that using mostly just cardboard and paper can also turn out great and it makes me want to try as well!

Oh you have NO IDEA HOW important it is to be as realistic in the inside (doesn’t matter at all if I can see it) as on the outside...because I KNOW that it is there. The teeny tiny photographs on a string, the curtains, the color and texture of the floor underneath the house. And I know that YOU know. 😂 Your videos please the HUGE perfectionist in meSO MUCH!!! I am OCD and these times it is really bad. Your videos calm me down. Because I know...everything is taken care of - for sure. THAAANK YOU!! 👍🏻🍀

As someone who will get right up on a miniature to stare into the windows, Seeing you decorate the inside soothes my soul. Yes it may be time consuming and seem useless, But it truly feels as though you took the house from the film and shrunk it down. I half exspected to see the children gazing out the window back at me. The truest definition of a miniature. Bravo!

@MechanicalFiend

Definitely, the design from the Netflix series was way closer to the book's description, but the one in the movie was just so beautiful. Oh absolutely, I love how utterly nonsensical her character is- it's super extreme, but weirdly part of me also relates in small ways hahaha!
@AwakeningWings
@AwakeningWings 3 жыл бұрын
@@MechanicalFiend I agree. I think they both have great designs, but the one from the movie is the one I liked more. Being that high up in a house is scary, how was she not terrified. Yeah and the fact that she corrected everyones grammer lol Some parts of her I can relate to as well. She picked up most of those characteristics from her husband Ike; they shared a lot of their personalities.
