I have Praetorian G, OD Green tanto. Pretty basic, tumbled blade and spring side, no bells or whistles. I paid $450 for it and I know it's not practical and it's not the best paper-cutter. But the tolerances are insane and it's such a solid knife, so much went into its design and execution that I had to have one. And I never show it off, nobody really knows I have it except for a few buddies, so I didn't buy it for bragging rights. It's hard to explain. If you watch Greg's videos you'll see the passion he has for the Praetorian and how much of a perfectionist he is. His politics aren't compatible with some folks but hey, this is still America and you can believe whatever the hell you wanna believe and say whatever you wanna say. Most designers/makers keep their beliefs to themselves to avoid offending anyone and that's smart from a business perspective but I respect someone who could care less for being politically correct and voices their opinions regardless of whether it'll hurt business. Anyway my Praetorian is an amazing piece of engineering and I totally love it. Not as much as my Olamic Wayfarer 247, but close.

Holy cow! Medford seems to follow the Lynn Thompson playbook in knife design. Nothing subtle. I like the looks of his designs, but not having held one or even breathed on one, I will have to be content with seeing them on KZfaq. Enjoy your Medford, LTK. 😁

That is a standard micro Praetorian the clip is on all newer gen micros. Vulcan finish which is basically the scale left on after heat treating. The blade is freehand ground as well as all the chamfers on the handle and spine of blade. All of the Medfords that have handle carving are also some freehand.

You can bronze stainless steel with a torch. All steel knife hardware

WHAT ? ? $600.00 ? I had to rub my eyeballs , I thought it said $60.00 , especially when I saw D2 steel , Ooo its a Medford , no wonder . . I could buy 15 CutJacks . LOL At least the CJ will cut . I just don't understand why some knife companies do the "shit" they do .

I have owned two Medfords. A 187RMP and a Praetorian T drop point. The only thing I will say is I will never buy another Medford knife.

If you thought it was a full size and got a micro you should be pissed I would have. The micro is cheaper. This is a standard $600 model

The hardware is flamed stainless, put a torch to any stainless hardware and u can get a blueish-bronze just don’t heat it too long.. they used to offer ti hardware as an upgrade but not anymore (only available on the Praetorian Ti).. they’re also discontinuing the vulcan 🖖 blade-finish.. I’ve heard the heat treat has been suspect on a few of their Vulcan blades out there or at least people claiming that.. i LOVE my Micro, that’s one knife that will always be in my collection

Seriously though, what logical sane person on this planet that earns his own money would want to buy this knife for $560 over something let's say, the Xanadu Yon-65 knife? You literally can't raise a single logical argument outside of subjectively or emotionaly-charged arguments like 'I like to support Medford because his daughter fed my chickens while I was in jail' . This argument goes for all the other overpriced, overrated knife makers that you know are out there, I have nothing specifically against Medfords. This isn't 1997 where good quality CNCing is hard to come by and every knife that's not handmade is automatically a Walmart special. Times have changed. Just because some idiots will continue to spend money on these knives doesn't make them worth the price. I'd have to think twice if you said this knife was $60.

All Medford knifes are overprice, I owned ZERO Medford knife and never will, lol. If We Knife make this same knife, it would be $200.00 with better blade type.
