Medibang may be the best but IbisPaint X is easier to use and also can capture the video process without paying anything

What makes ibis paint a better option is that it's easier to use, there's a tutorial for beginners, and the BEST part is that 95% of the app is *FREE*

Even if Medibang wins, The entire comment section will get justice to ibis Paint XD.

I feel like you made IbisPaint X really confusing. For me it seems really simple and easy to understand, but when I watched your video, it felt like IbisPaint X was really hard to understand and is for professional artists. Btw you didn’t need to go to the brush’s settings every time you wanted to set the opacity, you can just go to the bottom of your screen and set it.

Ibis paint was more into phone users lol. Not very great on ipad pro but great on phones :D

I prefer medibang. I have used both apps for a long time, and finally I dropped ibis and started using medibang, why? First, you don't need to watch ads to unlock brushes, then, there are too much more possibilities using medibang paint once you get used to it, and personally I like this point more because I don't care about the bunch of tools on the screen like if it is confusing, once you get used to it or any other apps like CSP, you'll know that it is normal and it is easy. I see a lot of ppl saying in their comments that ibis seems to be more simple so it's easier, dude, sometimes it's better to be able to have more possibilities than using three tools only because it seems to be clearer. btw I'm drawing tablet user.

I mostly use medibang, but then I switch to ibis paint for touch ups since they have loads of brushes and assets :D

I love ibis when I started and always make big illustration in it (I was a beginner and I'm doing fine with it) 😂 doing it manually and ended up using 7 canvas. Transferring it to canvas to canvas not letting the work time exceeding to 15:00+ Cuz the last time I was working an art I was so upset and my artwork was destroyed (it was 5 days work) T^T I tried my best to get it back(it's totally gone) I still do make illustrations in it until today. I want to move on to medibang and master all it's features cuz ibis is not design with a large capacity and lessening my creativity as an illustrator. I'm still using ibis in simple works and I guess ibis is best on simple artworks and it's beginner friendly. Thank you for listening♡

Im more used to Ibis and i find it way easier. Im new to Medibang and I get confused on what tools im using but i like how it looks like Photoshop but i feel like Medibang is way more advance for me tho, so i'll call them a tie in my opinion.

You should redo the competition. There are new updates that I LOVE on Ibis paint that’s free. I didn’t know I needed it until it was added and I was able to draw faster.

My problem with ibispaint is the lack of foldering/comic page organization system. Im making a webtoon with seperate pages...it'll be nice to have that in ibis. And also since the tablet i use is older, i cant use more complex brushes or even draw in a canvas bigger than 1500 px or else it'll lag so hard. BUT even though I use medibang more, i do get frustrated at the lack of brushes and pressure cuztomization. The strokes and custom pens ibis feel nicer, and i like that we can download brushes from community. But yeah, if ibis adds a comic page system, that'll be perfect! It recently has a cloud system which is one step forward for their file managing system

My ibis paint - •Is easy to use •Can set canvas size easily •Has a large number of brushes • so cheap • is such innocent that gives paid brushes free for 18 hours just after seeing a 30 sec video •Has many features that other app users can't see

off topic but.. when I’m using MediBang on iPad, my coloring doesn’t work. For example, if I put my color to red, and if you draw it, it turns to grey. Can somebody help me?

The drawing app which u started using first will always be the best cuz we are more comfortable and familiar with that and if we changed to other app .It's like learning from the beginning. Hit the like if u agree

even tho ibis paint has ads i can at least find the right color and the filters help me when i need to blur something and etc.

ive been using medibang paint for two weeks the brushes are amazing, i love the textures, but ive been drawing digitally for two years on sketchbook and it still took me like three days to find the close canvas button idk maybe im just dumb wwww

I use both, and I prefer Medibang, now don't go rant by saying I'm being unfair, the reason is simple, I find Medibang's pencil lighter and friendly than that of the Ibis paint x.

I currently use medibang because I was searching for a software similiar to Ibispaint and actually it's not that bad, but there aren't so many brush types like: I was searching for the crayon type but I didn't find it :( and also the fact that I can't import my drawings in to a mp4 really pissed me off idk. Ibispaint was the first app that takes me to draw digitally and I used it for almost 2 years! So it's hard to say goodbye to it😔

In my opinion I think ibis paint x is better, Not that medibang is bad cause I actually used it as a beginner Both are equally amazing and weather if you are a beginner or more advanced artist I personally use ibis paint x cause it much more easier to use And it’s overall a great professionally artist type of app 👍

I don't have an iPad but I use a Chromebook. Both apps are good but medibang suddenly stopped working so I'm not sure what to use. I recently started testing out krita. Can you do a tutorial or comparison of that program?

Just saying for those that hate watching the ads for brushes on ibis, you can download an app called lucky patches and pretty much get ibis paint x for free

People have different preferences...the first drawing app that I use was medibang (I was a beginner at digital art) I found it hard to draw on it...then I found Ibispaint X and I liked using it more than medibang cause I feel like Ibispaint is easier to use.

Just so anyone knows here about ibispaint if you don’t want I pay monthly subscription, they do have a paid version on I pad guaranteed. It’s basically the same thing with everything unlocked and is pretty cheap.

for me personally medibang is better i have satisfaction with it than i did with ibis paint something about ibispaint give me a heavy hearted feeling and i been using ibis paint longer than medibang and i only used medibang in the first place was for my pc and i loved it instantly and now i dowloaded both of these app on my ipad and this is my personal opinion and people have different taste

From someone who uses both apps I can say that it's true medibang has more stylistic brushes but all the good ones are paid while ibis paint lets you use them for free, however I think ibis paint is much easier to use and has some tools for free example the liquify brush or mirror lock that medibang doesn't. I've tried the mirror brush in medibang but it resets as soon as you switch out and is annoying. Similarly medibang has terrible rulers unlike ibis paint and mostly all of ibis paint's content has become free recently. They even have more features now so I'd recommend ibis over medibang for beginners

i choose medibang because when i just installed it in my pc it was easier then ibis paint x

Tip: I hit a tool that you need to watch a vid in and just hit the × right away and I get all of the tool for free whitout a 33 second ad

I think ibisPaint is better because it has many features and 2,559 materials compared to medibang. And plus. In ibisPaint for the brushes u can just watch an ad and then unlocked all brushes for 18 hours. If u get the ibisPaint premium like i did I didn’t have to worry anymore. I didn’t get any ads and I unlocked all brushes forever. It’s cheap 7,99 US dollars but ibisPaint when u first download it, it has a mini tutorial and there’s rating on contests and it’s way more easier it has blur , smudge and much more, the material ibispaint has is a Japanese themed backgrounds and anime background such well as anime cloud backgrounds and gardens why I prefer ibisPaint is that it’s easier for beginners and professional artists. - Brianna Lizzy

Honestly, I'd use Ibis Paint for quick sketches on the go and transfer the sketch to Clip Studio so I can resume the piece at home. And Ibis Paint has something I love using; The Symmetry ruler.

for me medibang paint is actually good when you first use it'' but were not compability and second when i use ibis paint x my art work is getting better and i also improving my art a little and yeah, so yeah and thats why i end up with ibis paint (｡♡‿♡｡)

ı use ibis paint x on my phone but on my computer ı use medibang paint pro and ı think ibis paint is easier but we can do the same thinks in medibang to its just take more time

Ibis paint is more user friendly! And has a nice colour wheel

MediBang is more for professional use whereas Ibis X is for common folk with easy app facilities. Both are great in my opinion as I use both.

Personally I think medibang could be set up easier. I tried it and found it not to my liking. There were a lot of simple things that ibispaint had that they did very intuitively that didn’t take anything crazy to do which was really nice and a novelty I didn’t realize until I tried medibang. I have heard medibang is way more intuitive on PC than it is on mobile devices and was not recommended by the medibang user I asked about it.

Medibang paint was confusing(not because of the interface, or maybe because of the interface, but i used paint tool sia and fire alpaca for years before) and I couldn't find brushes or tools I really liked to use on ibis paint so I stopped using medi after my first try. Then I tried it again and encountered the same problem. I was so confused on how people used brushes on medi that I couldn't find on medi.

Has anybody also got palm rejection issues with the full version of Medibang? (I'm using a Tab S4). The pinch to zoom feature keeps being activated, by the side of my hand and pen nib. Very frustrating

I dont like how ibis paint x is very pixel like, i mean yes medibang paint has pixels too but its way smoother plus its less laggy when its hd whilst ibis has an hd canvas but its laggy when i try to draw on an hd canvas (Dont be offended, this is only MY opinion,it also can be my device) Also everytime i watch a tutorial from someone on ibis paint, they have it so smooth but when i try it, its always so pixely I also dont like how when i use medibang paint it crashes the app, when i tap with two fingers to undo and i undo like too much it will crash the app whilst ibis paint is not laggy at all, it does not crash but lags

I prefer medibang. But what I hate is how, with ibis, you can adjust the length of the end of each uh stroke you do. You know, it gets thinner at the end. Medibang doesn't have that and it's infuriating since I draw with sharper lines.

I love medibang paint on computer and medibang paint is not that bad on mobile, it's actually pretty good but Ibis paint you can have a automatic video of the process and, well I can't think of anything else but one of the downsides is that if you barely have any space you can't use Ibis paint.

i dont use phones as much and ipads or tablets are not in my liking, and the monitor is bigger, thats why i use medibang rather than ibis paint x and when i install bluestacks for it, it works but it still sucks, drawing with your finger or anything really is better than drawing with a mouse.

Medibang wont download for me :( it says that the program could harm the device. Is something wrong?

I dislike Medibang because it's much too complicated and they over-do it in my opinion. Plus, I use a pressure stylus and whenever I do the stroke while doing it, it comes out normally. Once I take my pen off of it, the stroke goes thinner. It's annoying.

Medibang is the best for PC while Ibis is the best for Mobile Phone
