This Mio is really a challenge for me and I hate it. I have been using it for about 3 months and even had excellent training when I started. In 3 months of use, I have had to discard 7 to 10. Just yesterday the white plastic piece broke when I pulled on it to get it ready to insert. The blue protective piece that you remove when exposing the needle is often difficult to remove and sometimes will pull the cannula over the needle making it especially difficult for insertion. I just watched a video that a guy posted regarding the Silhouette. That one looks so much better.

Did anyone else get their new pump, insert this like a normal infusion site, hold it in their stomach for 20 minutes trying to figure out what to do next and then freak out looking for their phone to look it up on KZfaq? No? Me either.

I'm surprised at these comments. I prefer the mio sets over anything else. I absolutely hate the quick set and sure t. I've used the mio for about 8 years now and never had any real issues with it.

Hate, hate hate this. My partner is a machinist and without his help, would not have been able to do this. In fact, he does it for me ! Hate Medtronic for the first time ever.

This has to be the worst infusion set ever, i's horrible.
