Ursine is Bear. The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt taught me that Ursine Armor belongs to the school of the Bear. From this I extrapolate that all things in the Witcher is always true and historically accurate.

You are correct. Frigg was indeed Odin's wife in Norse mythology. I guess they mistook Freya for Frigg here. It's worth mentioning that in Sweden (and some other countries), Friday ("Fredag" in Swedish) is actually named after Freya ("Freja").
