I really wish KZfaqrs wouldn’t put inspirational music in the background of their videos. It’s a psychology trick which makes any dialogue sound more profound or wise.

coda creator to conclude that a person is profound and wise, is showing ones own level of knowledge and intelligence. I like this guy, I agree and understand what he says, but he only appears profound and wise to people with subordinate knowledge and intelligence.

On his bit about thinking. A wise man once uttered, "For most people, thoughts occur to them randomly, and they accept them. They call this 'thinking.' It is not. Thinking is conjuring a mental position, and then observing it from as many different positions as possible, and testing it for its logical sufficiency. You try to destroy that position. That is thinking." Most people don't think. Thoughts happen to them.

I think you haven't thought it through. We must think, to investigate what our minds text us, yes, some go with that meggage, they call it instinctive reaction, and there's nothing wrong with doing what's needs to be done. It's, your judgement that's call into questin, right or wrongly.

@Cliff Hanley Incurious? You wish he was a Christian? I'd say curiosity about the whole God business is exactly what gets you further away from it generally speaking.
@pseudonymousbeing987
@pseudonymousbeing987 4 жыл бұрын
@Cliff Hanley Where do you get the impression that he's incurious? What is there to be curious about? I'm simply exhausted of all the nonsensical theist rhetoric and arguement style personally. Goodness can we just not have it anymore? Can we move on from the whole religion thing as a species finally? What curiosity is there to have in the circular, never ending, irrationality of discussion on the topic? It's so simple to refute theistic trifle I don't have an ounce of curiosity left for any of it. (Speaking to a theist) You cannot proove god exists, much less your one. I cannot disproove god. Therefore what does it matter?
@DraganBakema

@Cliff Hanley dear Cliff, nobody is asking Alain to bring God in his words. Let the man talk the way he needs to talk. If he doesn't talk about God, hé doesn't talk about God, no comment. I am interested in Alain. Nobody is interested in a version of him you wish him to be; because that is NOT him.
