When "kids" commit crimes (15, 16, 17 years old), some people say that they're not responsible for their actions because their brains aren't developed. At the same time, these people allow their children to choose a gender at 2 or 3 years old, and take them for hormone treatments as pre-pubescents. Yeah, that makes total sense.

Hormone treatments are very scary 😳 I really don't understand why those people just don't accept themselves the way they are born. They are born either a male or a female. That's it and we cannot change that. That is wired up to our chromosomes. Everybody have a father and a mother. This is how biology works. For me is just as absurd as if someone would say they want to take a certain hormone that can remove the ability to see with their eyes, that will make them go blind, just because "I know inside me that I was not supposed to have those eyes" 🤷🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🙄😳

IT WON'T CHANGE THEIR LIFE FOREVER. No one is 'pumping chemicals' into trans/non binary children. You have to be 18 to get any kind of permanent surgery or to go on Testosterone or Estrogen. That is the age people are legally considered adults and are capable of making important decisions such as where/what to do for their future. @@goriantheboi8044The world is a much more accepting place than it was 50 years ago.. Hell, even 20 years ago.. People can support those within the LGBTQ community but also disagree with things like this. It's the extreme end of the spectrum that people get worked up about. Raising kids in a world where even there own gender isn't stable isn't good. I was raised in a very chaotic, unstable environment and it was hard enough to figure out who I was. If someone had told me "hey, did you know you might not be a girl?" It probably would have been very detrimental because i was extremely subjective. I fully support adults making decisions about their bodies and their life. I cannot condone an adult projecting their own insecurities about their identity onto their child when it probably was never even a thought in that child's mind to question something like that. Just my two cents. I wish you the best and encourage you to take a step back from social media, or at least the comments. It's good to unplug and do things you enjoy and forget about the culture wars for a few days. Best wishes to you. ❤

G. K. Chesterton was quoted with "I opened my intellect as I opened my mouth, in order to shut it again on something solid." 1909. "A mind so open that you can drive a four-mule team in and never touch the sides, as it were." in 1922. And "Whereas I am incurably convinced that the object of opening the mind, as of opening the mouth, is to shut it again on something solid." in 1936. I found many articles addressing the authorship of the quote but just as I ran out of interest and coffee I searched Richard Dawkins as he was the first person I can remember using it and found this list including more people. quotepark.com/quotes/1857657-richard-dawkins-pits-been-suggested-that-if-the-super-naturalis/

Either very hateful, intolerant and shaming or (on the other end of the spectrum) there is no room for a civil discussion; if you don't accept everything at face value you're a bigot. When in reality you just have some questions and concerns (in certain cases like this one) that you would like to talk about. And some concerns are legitimate. But I was brought up grounded in reality, so I knew no matter what I did, my experience will never be a "female" experience, no amount of drugs or therapy or surgery would change who I am. Sure maybe trans people are truly born in the wrong body, but my questioning came from trauma and abuse that made me desire to be something else and I truly believe most trans people are suffering and refuse to acknowledge and deal with their suffering properly and change themselves as a form of escape.

You’re “Allowing” your children to choose their own gender prounouns yet you’re assigning them “they/them” pronouns at birth? You’re not allowing them to choose their gender, you’re influencing it yourself. Raising your child in an atypical way leads to unnecessary hardship for such a simple goal. Simply raise them in the typical way where your gender matches your sex at birth, and should they choose to deviate from that norm, you love and support them in that decision. It’s as easy as that.

For a genderfree family they seem to be very obsessed with gender. The sad thing about this is, at some point they started constructing the one thing they wanted to tear down, just in a very confused and disorganized manner. Instead of actually letting the kids grow up with an open mind and make their own decisions about their identity. What if one of the kids decides to just be a girl or a boy? Nothing special and unique? Would that actually be ok? I am sorry to say that I am not convinced.

That’s so true! As someone who is transgender I agree with this.. I mean most kids are not even thinking about identifying as the opposite sex or as being neither male or female. I mean when I was 10 years old I didn’t know I was trans, I was literally just a kid and I only found out later on in my life as I matured.
@Kasumistern

As long as I can remember I knew that I was a girl and that it is simply because I am born into a certain body that was different from my brothers. I never had to think about my gender, because being a girl/boy just meant having a certain type of body. I didn't feel like it restricted how I am living my life. I was free to not wear a dress or like pink. Lots of girls my age felt the same. And still I noticed that there are thinks about me that are inherently female. By deciding to not fight this feelings I felt happier. For instance I did grew up among only boys and as much as I liked playing with cars and were proud to announce that I am not a super girly girl as much did I enjoy it when I found some other girls to play very girly things with. I loved being active and playing with "boy toys" but I also was obsessed with dolls. I loved dolls. But I can express all these things while just being a girl. I don't have to call myself nonbinary. These people just like to create problems were there are none. These kids can express themselves however the fuck they want and still identify with their birth gender like 99% of people do anyway.

Thank you! I'm also a woman (simply because I am), but that doesn't mean that I "identify" or feel like a woman 24/7. Most people feel like different things all the time, doesn't mean you have to create some complicated identity around that.

I completely agree. I feel like a human and not like a woman because I don’t know how a woman is supposed to feel. But I know that I’m a woman because I have a female body. But my body doesn’t define my mind.

Genuine question, but what about the males? I always felt like women can be tomboy as they wanted, wear what they wanted and look however they wanted, but as the days goes by, men definitely couldn't wear dresses like they were in the past for example. Can't even play with dolls and even having a cooking/kitchen sets as a child because of, well idk the english, the standard about gender the society put them in, they can't express these and while just being a boy unlike girls. That's why I felt non-binary things is happening.

The 2 years old is a boy, dressed and raised like a girl. The mother (that pretends to be the father) misspoke in a tv interview and addressed the newborn as "him"! If you watch more videos of this family, they made sure he's never ever dressed like a boy. The older child (girl) is pushed in the direction of the non-binary nonsense. You can be anything, sure, just don't be a male. Especially if you're white. Sickening!

It really feels like these parents are just raising their kids to be exactly like them. Personally I think they're putting concepts into minds that aren't yet capable of understanding them. It's an unnecessary burden for the kids and it's fucking creepy.
