American horsewoman Lauren McNabb (41) is not only a groom but also a rider, a manager, a ground person, and a mentor. And with Lauren on her side, young German dressage talent Felicitas Hendricks won the first two CDI Freestyles at the Adequan Global Dressage Festival in Wellington, FL.
We talked with Lauren at her temporary home barn in Loxahatchee, just outside of Wellington, where she works with Hendricks and the rest of the team for dressage rider and trainer Christoph Koschel.
Lauren shares tips, talks about the importance of being an allround horse person, also as a rider, and about her summers in Germany.
