Soem breaking news today on The Daily Distraction as reports suggets that Bullet Train and MCU star Aaron Taylor-Johnson has been meeting with the producers of the James Bond franchise to star as James Bond...and that those meetings have been going very well.
So will Aaron Taylor-Johnson be the actor to pick up the James Bond mantle from Daniel Craig...and just how soon could we get final confirmation of a new 007? We have all the latest details coming up right now on The Daily Distraction!

He's not a bad fit. To those who say Henry Cavill would be the perfect choice, given that Superman is now gone to him, I can't argue that, but his popularity is precisely why he won't be the choice, because he will command top pay for the role. Same for Idris Elba. I still remember all the people dead set against a blond Bond in Daniel Craig...look how that turned out.

He will demand top pay cause he really fits the role and is popular which will mean a bigger box office hit if the plot, production and directing are near that of the Craig bond films. It would be really a shame to skip on him. People weren’t against Craig cause he was blond. The franchise was at a moment of fatigue and no one even thought they could revamp it that well and choosing Craig at that time gave a wrong indication that they don’t care anymore. But this is different. Cavill is more than the obvious choice here and the franchise is already at new highs. He is made for the character and the right age. At least give the guy a trilogy. As for Elba, he deserves much better roles than the ones he did and to star at a smashing box office franchise but please don’t, i am mixed race but bond for me will always be a British middle aged white guy.

I don’t think Caville would demand top pay, like with Superman I think being superman meant more to him than his paycheck. I think he truly loves certain characters and enjoys playing the iconic roles 🤷🏽‍♂️

Henry cavill and Idris Elba would have rocked as Bond but would be extremely expensive for the studio to afford so they went with the cheaper option, well at least i'm glad they didn't choose Tom Holland as Bond.

How old was Daniel Craig when he became Bond 38/39 and Pierce Brosnan 41/42 and how old is Henry Cavill 40 still the best bet and when they cast Brosnan he had been in a successful US show for five years so hardly low profile or up and coming.

Idris already said he wouldn't accept that part. Honestly, any established black actor is not going to accept that part because they don't want to have to deal with the racist fanbase. Doesn't matter whos going to play him..Its going to be woke like nearly everything is today...In the 80s we had action woman like Cynthia Rothrock, Mechelle Yough, Linda Hamilton, Weaver, Angelina Jolie, and so many more..We had diverse characters, and the movies were so much better..but it was all natural and no big deal...Now weve got to hear every film director going on about strong female woman, LGBTQ representation, one of every single race in everything, and "the message"...Its getting old now...It absolutely destroys authenticity especially in shows like rings of power...Where isolated peoples absolutly wouldn't be multicultural...Just like hundreds of years ago when countries were isolated and often at war, hardly anywhere was multicultural...I mean Britain wasnt multicultural just 80 years ago. Asia, Eastern Europe, most Black African countries still aren't multicultural. America was multicultural sooner because of the slave trade...Its not racist or prejudice to make historical movies or historical fantasies how they would have been.
