Now that I lost my wife, I totally get it. Anybody that makes fun of her will never know the pain of having someone you truly loved being gone. When I spread my wife’s ashes, I purposely tried to breathe them in so she could be a part of me without making it obvious for others to see. Only now can I truly understand the comfort this may give her. We all know it’s f’cked up but if this is how we can cope, please respect her process.

My fiance died in 2006. I spread his ashes in 2022. It was difficult. One time before... I did taste a tiny spec on my finger and immediately regretted it. But it did have the same feeling of a memorial tree...hoping that a part of him would become part of me and live on until I die. This video is a bit of a relief. I didn't even keep his urn or his earring. I left it all there... So that he could stay at the lake and watch the sunrise and sunset. I admit that I have had one bad relationship after another since him. After my baby died and I broke up with his father, I kind of swore off men. I began eating so that no man would ever love me again or break my heart. But... That was in 2016. 2019 was really hard for me. 2021 was rough. 2022 I lost my crap. 2023 I'm trying to find myself again. I'm trying to be someone ...someone great might want some day. It's a process letting go of someone who treated you good.

That being said who your grieving wouldn’t want to see you in a bad place of your life, being hung up on them. What her husband’s family has gone through is worse. They found out he died, then they found out she was eating him. Now they see she got all of this attention by getting herself on national tv. They know this upload will always be there now because of her need to seek attention. That's far from an okay way of grieving. Some people have a bit of a loved one's ashes be put into a necklace but to carry an urn with all of whats left of him everywhere and even talk to it is just complete denial. She talks about him as if he was still alive. This is so unhealthy.
