Congratulations to the winner, I got news that a donation was given from James Finlay from your family but it turned out to be difficult to get the donation even asked to deposit money to the bank to open an account at Alvibrex bank to be able to claim the money while the traffic of money between countries is limited, I get 3 million pounds even though I don't need that much, just being given 10 thousand pounds is enough for my family, I have completed the data but can't prove it, meaning the news to me is not true. there are people who lie, hopefully the winners can be grateful and share with others. thanks

Yep. Well done guys you bought a ticket. You won, I didnt. No axe to grind whatsoever. Its a shame that some of the comments are less than congratulary. Enjoy it and spread it among family and.. real friends. Brilliant.

Because more people wouldn’t play or get excited. There are other games where you can win £500,000 or even less than £20M like Lotto and Thunderball. This is Euromillions, where the jackpot is more extreme. People are only complaining because they’re not winning

Ive nothing against people with money as such, but that couple who won a shitload, did they have to go public ? Who benefits from them showing off ? On the same page of the BBC website you then see the reality for most people at the moment. Im not struggling personally but a lot will read the news and feel pretty down seeing her smug face while people struggle to pay bills, buy food and fuel for their cars.

Disgusting ! Why in this current climate of inflation is £184 million paid out to “ ONE “ ticket winner. Why not have 184 draws of £1 million therefore giving the chance to more people to have a life changing amount of winnings.

Now they can finish building the house they’d already started, bless them, maybe they’ll let somebody run their family business for them now. 🙄 When the national and euro starts to disperse the winnings fairly I still wouldn’t chase money but at least it wouldn’t seem so immoral.

I’ve always thought the lottery is rigged. It’s always a middle aged white couple, living in a rural area, and already had money to begin with in a nice house.

Totally ridiculous to hand out this amount of money to one winner. 184 people could have been extremely happy millionaires. All most people want to do by playing the lottery is to pay off their mortgages. Not their fault they won all that and fair play to them but the whole system is wrong. You could play the lottery for a thousand years and never win a dime.

If everyone was filthy rich, nobody would work. The country would collapse. This rich/poor divide is not right but MUST exist whether we like it or not. It enables the supply/demand chain.
@yesman2755
@yesman2755 2 жыл бұрын
@@tomtaylor92 if 184 people had been given one million pounds, the majority of that money would have been spent in the U.K. benefitting the economy. Giving out 184 million to one household is an invitation for a good proportion of that to be spent overseas. One million pounds does not make somebody “filthy rich”. You can spend that much on a moderate house near London these days.
@tomtaylor92
@tomtaylor92 2 жыл бұрын
@@yesman2755You would not be benefitting the economy if you made thousands of millionaires every year based on your theory. How can you say majority of it would be spent in the U.K when it is the European Jackpot? If that was the case it wouldn't just be U.K winners. If anything more money will be spent in the U.K by one winner of £184 mil as they will buy a house, sort out friends and family and spread the wealth. & for the record 1 million pound to some people would make them filthy rich, not everyone wants a moderate house in London - you can buy a 5 bedroom house in North Wales for less than 300k and invest the rest.
@tomtaylor92
@tomtaylor92 2 жыл бұрын
@@yesman2755 based on your theory, inflation would rise and the economy would eventually collapse as more millionaires are made. It's just not that simple.

I get your point but the game wouldn’t make sense. You’re likely to have the same people winning again and again. It would ruin the fun. There are other games where the price is less than £20M, including Lotto. So if people don’t agree with large sums, they should stick with lower jackpots
