"Oh its definitely a female!" And thats how my family ended up with 6 guinea pigs instead of 2 when i was a child. 😂 Theyre so in love, i guess it was fate that Pepo turned out to be a male.

I rescued a little diamond dove years ago, it was so sweet and so tiny, they make the prettiest cooing noise.

Your story and our story is very similar. In the morning 13 th August 23 when I was brushing my teeth I saw a small bird sitting in our balcony, I saw it and ignored but my son took him and brought him in the house. We gave him food and water to drink but it didn't not ate a piece of grain. We were hopelesss because we didn't expect that he would survive. We took him to pet shop and bought a female companion for him. We named him NIX and the female we bought OLLEY. Now they laid eggs. ❤❤❤

Summer, I always knew you were amazing. You just showed me (us) how amazing you really are! Thank you for not buying and for promoting adopt-and-rescue rather than shopping and buying. Thousands (if not millions) of companion birds are left homeless, suffer from neglect and even abuse. Homeless birds need loving homes. There is no reason to buy. Thank you for spreading the message! It will save lives. You're awesome. ❤️

They're wonderful, Summer, thank you for saving them. They're such beautiful creatures. I used to care for a mourning dove I became close to that I named Duvin. Your feathered friends remind me of him.

Really adorable. Pepo is definitely more accustomed to humans and doesn't mind sitting on a hand and getting filmed, but I really like giving them their space because it seems as if that's what they need, especially in this parenting process.

They are so sweet. My daughter has budgies and what we thought were females were a mix of male and female. They hatched two clutches and now we have a split aviary so they do not continue to breed. It was such a cute and fun experience, but we went from 4 birds to 9 in less than a year 🤦. I love doves and maybe one day I will have a pair, but right now we have plenty of feather friends to enjoy.

They are very sweet, like smaller versions of our collared doves. Are you going to build the an aviary on the deck for the summer months?

Yes, the plan is to make a nice aviary. Didn't plan on getting birds so soon, so we may have to do a temporary aviary before we do the main one. :)

Summer this just brings me so much joy. I mean what a perfect fit . You seem to really love doves i mean i remember in one video you’re walking in the streets and casually saying oh there is so and so I feed him in the morning times. And I LOVE the names you gave them. Great vid!

Thank you for sharing your birds. Years ago, I had a male and female parakeets that had 3 broods. I loved watching them loving each other and their babies. I miss them. This was such a sweet video to watch.

Thanks for rescuing them. They're beautiful. I have fostered many pigeons since we have a network of people here rescuing injured and emaciated city pigeons and rehabilitating them.

This saga is best TV. Their behaviors and gestures are such wonderful tells of the shared angst, love, pressures and tribulations of life. Tutu is SO understanding, the way she went to billing upon arrival suggested a sort of “womens intuition”. RIP chicks Teepu & Creetu❣️❣️
