This includes the DOS versions of Mega Man and Mega Man III, Mega Man Legends for the PlayStation, and Mega Man X7 for the PlayStation 2.

I can imagine James recording himself, talking to himself in the future, 10 years ago in his basement. Moving around, doing different angles, different backgrounds,, making faces and reactions, saying all kinds of stuff just to have alot of material to choose from in the future. And I imagine James imagining his neighbour or a passer by on the street seeing him do so, thinking "they must think I've gone insane". Then laughing about it.

I thought it was funny when James did it in this episode because he said in a behind the scenes video that he had to use stock footage from those old episodes to insert himself from the future into them, and then he has to pretend to be himself from the past and then split screen it so that it looks like he's talking to himself. It's so cool !!

It's so weird that they turned the levels into mazes for Dos. They were always as left to right as they could get, except for things like Quick Man, which was top to bottom, Ring Man, which was bottom to top, etc. The Dos games are so weird

This is easily one of the best episodes of AVGN out there. It perfectly encapsulates the typical humor of the series, while still telling a fantastic story about The Nerd rediscovering his love for reviewing bad games by looking into his past. 10/10, my good man

Thank you for doing this AVGN. This episode was touching. You explained your position well; you want to please the fans, but doing the same thing for 10+ years can get old. If you choose to do it once in a while nowadays, I accept that. This episode felt like a love letter to the fans. Thanks for all the years of laughs and creativity. You are the original! +Arul Gupta Personally, for a while I was really annoyed that he did like one episode a year, as opposed to other reviewers who did one review a week, and some two or three different shows a week. But I long since got over that, and am now more sympathetic towards James, as he does his best, and we shouldn't rush him to make episodes, or else he may just ragequit and end the show entirely, I should be happy for what we do get, and the rarer he uploads, the more special the reviews are. I since realized that long ago, and this episode solidified that for me. Do what you need to do James :)

This is probably the most wholesome and heart touching episode James has ever done. He put a lot of effort into this one, and that shot towards the end when he comes back to the present and the aspect ratio goes back to HD widescreen always makes me choke up a bit.

I liked megaman legends, there are so much cool hidden things and I actually finished the game- I didn't finish a lot of games when I was younger so if I finished it then I considered it half decent.

Watching this again I also noticed he never used the lock on, he ran, stopped and then turned and tried to shoot. If you lock on the movement becomes not that bad at all in combat.

Even the Ruby-Spears cartoon kind of made fun of the idea when Dr. Light reacts to the kidnapping of Mega Man and Roll with "Not Rock and Roll!".

It’s an amazing episode. I am recently playing all of the Mega Man games recently. Now I am playing Mega man 6 now. I gotta say,playing all these Capcom classics brought me so much enjoyment in those games. Even if it’s a hard challenging game,it still bring so much fun in those classic games. The music and the 8-bit games everything is so much.
