What is up all you Pokémon maniacs out there! PikiPikaPapa is back and talking about the possibility of MEGAS coming to the TCG space and the prices that have already spiked. Despite the fact that the prices have spiked in response the question remains, is it too late to buy? This should come as no surprise but I do a ton of research and deep dives into Pokémon products before I do my videos and this video around if MEGAS are Coming? We have done a ton of content into Sword & Shield Booster Boxes and sets over the last couple months so getting into a different buying cycle with a new era is really really exciting!! Love these cards! Six months ago, I started collecting the full art mega cards in PSA 10. 22 so far! The rest are really hard to find or super expensive. But my goal is to have a complete set one day! 🤞🏻

Mega cards are almost like a second shot at getting a “rookie” card. The gold secret and silver regulars with the same art was an odd choice at the time, but what can you do? 😂

LOL bringing in the sports card reference, I love it!!! Will be interesting to see how they direct the art this go around. Round 1 was a bit busy so I'd love for it to be a bit cleaner and more purposeful!!

Dang. I passed up the opportunity to collect these so that I could collect AAs. Now AAs are starting to drop while Megas are spiking. Sadge.

It all seems to be cyclical so, while it might take a bit, I've got a feeling those AAs will see the sunshine again in the future and a lot of them will hold on to plenty of the gains. This Pokemon market is a bit wild, I gotta admit that!!

Megas are ICONIC! to some it was the only good "gimmick" before terastilization. BIG swings are coming in our favor!!

Yeah I think it def plays a part. In this new era of "influencers" of which I hope to not be considered (I always want to be more of a data/fact sharer vs an opinion dropper) things can move without reason at times. I mean if "roaring kitty" can drive a stock price anything is possible in this new world LOL!! Awesome call out!!

Mega cards are quite ugly imo. I don't see that mechanic returning causing any interest. People would rather have irs/sirs and alt arts

As with all new things it will be really interesting to watch!!! The announcement sure has spurred interest in the older ones but it might fall flat in the new release. Love tracking stuff like this!!
