Description:
The MEGO is a breadboard power supply designed for students, hobbyists, and people getting started with electronics. It has a built-in battery, it plugs straight into the breadboard, and it has adjustable voltage from 4 to 24 volts. Safety features include short circuit and overload protection.
I've been using the MEGO breadboard power supply for several weeks and I like how convenient it is because of its form factor and built-in Li-Po battery. I only wish it wasn't that expensive, but on the other hand, it's at least half the price of a proper bench power supply.

It’s kind of bulky. And, I like to build up a small power supply on my breadboards that only uses 3 rows of pins. A DC power jack (female), a capacitor, diode, resistor and led then I plug in a good quality 9volt dc adapter. Never fails me! 😊

In was all on board with that, until you said the price. A bit too expensive for me.

There does not appear to be anything on the actual power supply to show you which end of the breadboard it is supposed to connect to. I can see someone breadboarding their circuit and then frying it by attaching the Mego to the wrong end.

There are + and - signs indicating polarity. Maybe they're not visible enough in the video. But yes, you have to be careful not to plug it in incorrectly
