Hi, I have been wanting to make an amplifier for my mic that also allows reverb. Can you do something detailed like this? It does not have to be super loud. I just want to sing on the street and try to make some money. Thank you. :)

Throwing this idea on my list of potential future projects. Can't promise anything, but there seem to be chips that make this possible easily

I think that this is how wired remote controls from the 70s worked, I found one and opened it up and I was disappointed that it was just a lot of resistors, maybe a diode or two. But potted ICs are the worst, just so boring and you can't learn anything from looking at it.

Interesting! I've never seen a wired remote control (not for a TV, at least), but you could be right.

you have a lot of space for a 2mm chip... it's nonsense! you can use bigger voltage regulator! tiny chips are for tiny projects and... tiny currents 😊

why not add some screws beside the chip and then screw on a heatsink? or maybe you can make it so that the chip controls the output voltage using a mosfet, which should also be able to solve the problem
@LeftyMaker

Hmm. I should look into your second suggestion. I remember seeing transistors used with chips like 7805 or 317 to increase their current output.

Unfortunatly there is no way of turning of the voice. Its included by default in the sdk and usually manufacturers dont change much and just compile in the default template because it saves money and they wont need to hire programming people. Also the sdk is not really fully documented well. Some boards that dont have usb sound card functionality can still have it implemented in the firmware and board layout (becauss again manufacturers are lazy to desugn their own thing and use premade schematics) but they just dont place a resistor or jumper disconnecting the usb data lines but leaving pads that can be bridged. I had some models like that. Also if you do plan on tinkering with the firmware, they can be programmed using usb in DFU mode. You have to put a specific signal across the usb pins to put it into dfu mode. The Dfu mode is burned into the bootrom of the ic so you wont erase the functionality. The chips also use UBOOT as their bootloader. They use JieLi's sdk to compile and flash the code onto the flash

The same thing existed in the UK, a service from the Rediffusion company. Their service lines were on the same poles as the telephone cables. They had four stations selected by a rotary switch, usually BBC Radio 1,2, 3 and 4. I seem to recall one of the channels switched to Radio Luxemburg at night. My grandmother had one until the early 1970s, when the service closed down because radios were now so cheap. The speaker units often had beautiful wooden cabinets and you would find them thrown out with the trash. I collected a lot of speakers and audio transformers from these, when I was a kid and just getting interested in electronics.

The OnePlus is only drawing 18w from the power bank because it uses a proprietary protocol to communicate with it's original brick charger and then charges at 80w.. you can confirm this by taking a look in the USB A port of the charger (if that's what it is using) there will a extra pin in the connector other than the USB connetors..if it's using type c it's not possible to see the extra connetor but it's there..all of the phones which say fast charging like 100w 80w of Xiaomi OnePlus etc use their proprietary protocol and that's why don't charge at that speeds other than with their original charging brick
