This song so reminds me of the night my college sweetheart and I said goodbye for the last time. So much truth in this song ... it takes me back 34 years.Ouch. One of my favorite songs by Melanie! I remember watching this when I was a teen. Today, a performer would have to drastically cut the length of their song for a slew of commercials. I always loved the studio version with background vocals much like the Edwin Hawkin Singers. Spine tingling!
