Always cracks me up when I see a vocal coach starting a reaction to Dimash full of confidence and then realizing - as the performance progresses - that there is really nothing to react on, because it's flawless and he blows everyone out of the water 😂. You just listened and watched a man that has had classic vocal training since age 5 and now - at age of almost 28 - is still practicing at least 3 hours a day. He sings in 13 languages, sings in different styles like opera, jazz, pop, folk, rock and he raps. He's a multi instrumentalist (piano, drums, dombra, ...). He is a creative innovative genius, he composes & arranges songs, directs his own mv's. He dances, is a fashion model and does a lot of charity work. Dimash has several versions of SOS, this one is my favorite. I think it's the most polished and the stunning visuals are hard to beat. What you will find is that Dimash is fully invested in all his performances and will give you 1000% each and every time. Whatever language he chooses to sing the song in, it really makes no difference if you know that language. He feels the song and makes you feel it, it's his "super power". While it's difficult to recommend one song over another, there is something special about "Ikanaide" and I think you will enjoy his performace of it. Recorded for the 2021 Tokyo Jazz Festival and sung in Japanese, this live studio performance set to a beatuifully simple instrument track really showcases his incredible range, breath support and is a master class in dynamic control. You just witnessed the greatest vocalist alive. He’s from Kazakhstan, sings in 15 different languages, plays multiple musical instruments and is currently working on his PhD in music. He’s been training since the age of 5, has a 6-8 octave range (depending on who you ask) has absolute pitch, and is an amazingly humble man. He sings every genre (even raps) He has many recent performances, but I would highly recommend "Sinful Passion “ 2018 and then "Stranger" 2021, "Ikanaide" 2021, "Adagio" 2017, "Daybreak" at Bastau 2017. Grandfather played professional dombra, grandmother was a teacher and sings. His parents are Kanat Aitbayev and Svetlana Aitbayeva.
