That's what I do! (Doctor's orders) and it's changed my life! This recipe looks so delicious, I will have to try it. Your recipe is sorta similar to a no-bake pumpkin pie recipe I have (For more protein I add egg whites and bake it), so good! No-Bake Walnut Pumpkin Pie Vegan (For a non-vegan version you can add two egg whites and bake at 425 for 20 mins Note: I also forgot to add the brown sugar and it was equally still delicious! and if one can't eat flaxseed one can always substitute ) Crust: 1/3 cup raw walnuts ½ cup rolled or old fashioned oats 2 TBSP organic brown sugar or maple syrup ½ tsp salt 2 TBSP flax seeds (optional) 2 TBSP organic virgin coconut oil, melted (for coating the pie pan) Filling: 15 oz (1 can) pumpkin puree, unsweetened ¼ cup organic brown sugar 1/3 cup maple syrup ½ cup raw walnuts ¾ tsp salt 1 ½ tsp pumpkin pie spice (or a mixture of cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves) ¼ cup almond milk (or less if you’re using a liquid sweetener) 3 TBSP applesauce 1 TBSP ground flaxseeds ½ tsp vanilla extract 1/3-1/2 cup organic virgin coconut oil (melted) 1. Make your crust by processing all the dry ingredients together in a food processor. 2. Generously grease pie dish with coconut oil (using a pastry brush is easiest). Then take the dry crust mixture and press it into the dish with your fingers or a small spatula. Set aside. 3. Combine all filling ingredients except the coconut oil in a blender or food processor. Blend until very smooth and silky. Last, with the blender on low, slowly pour in the coconut oil until the blend runs smooth and silky. 4. Taste and adjust spices. 5. Pour filling into the pie dish and place in the fridge. Let chill for about an hour.

I loved and appreciated the Yoghurtland story, thank you! When I first started dating my easily upset tummy was what was making me the most nervous about the experience and I have many similar stories with my boyfriend xD I too have done the FODMAP diet and found it very helpful, but the number 1 thing that I've found to help was reducing my added sugar intake - I recommend it for everyone!

Just wanted to share a few things I learned recently: 1: Avoid oat milk that has carrageenan. I recommend Oatly. TJs oat milk has carrageenan. 2. Unless your oatmeal is organic, chances are it has Monsanto (Round-up). Make sure your oatmeal, including rolled oats, is organic. 3. Avoid anything that includes caramel color as an ingredient. PS. I have IBS and am gluten sensitive so I’m constantly reading labels and trying to educate myself!

For anyone with IBS/stomach issues, I highly recommend watching Thomas DeLauer & Bobby’s video on “choosing the right nut milk”. They mention to stay away from non-dairy milks with emulsifiers/oils as they are a big no-no for us with sensitive stomachs. I also suffer from IBS and have noticed a difference after switching back from oat to a better non dairy milk

I usually cant use sugar-free syrup because I cant use most artificial sweeteners (stevia included unfortunately), but I can use monk fruit! I'm going to have to try and find that syrup and give it a try! Where did you buy it?

For those looking into ChocZero, please be aware that the first ingredient is corn fiber aka maltodextrin, which will cause a spike for those who are diabetic. I like Saigon cinnamon because it has a slightly sweetness to it. Melissa, baking powder is a leavening agent that makes baked goods fluffy and not like a brick. 😉

Some of my triggers are coffee, bread, bananas, onions, processed foods like sausages, cucumber etc. etc. I also came to realise my IBS is muuuuuch worse when I have a lot of stress in my life.
