Ahaha. Enna iru composing style. What MSV achieved in music is incomparable incredible. Ananthu singing brings back msv to us. Melting memories. Greatest of musical genius. In my early years I used to talk endlessly about his composing style, structure, orchestration, instrumentation with my own family and friends. Ghazal is his forte. This song pervades and prevails in memory permanently. Thanks for talking about this song. And can't forget contribution of Kaviyarasar kannadasan- the lines words fits in so beautifully. Excellent Lec Dem by Ananthu Sir. A beautiful composition by MSV that has got the steong influence of the Raag Nand Kauns. We should thank MSV Sir in abundance for giving us the flavour of Hindustani Music in So Many Thamizh Film Songs. ( U may pls also listen to the Song Kaaviri Nagarinil kadarkarai Orathil sung by Vani Jayaram.) This Song from Annan Oru Kovil is my Ever favourite both for Listening & Watching. MSV's Music Score got fully justified by a matching Picturisation by Director K Vijayan thru Cameraman G O R Nathan's notable camera movement from awesome angles as the scene and the music kept the audience interest alive thru the element of Thrill & Melody and a nice performance by both Sumitra & Jaiganesh. The Very Opening AAlaababaa conceived by MSV is a complicated one and we don't know how much time it took for MSV to bring it out from SPB and how much time it took for SPB to grasp it. It should have been painstaking both for SPB and for U also here. Though SPB didn't undergo proper training in Carnatic Or Hindustani Classical Music, he definitely had it in his genes as his father was a Harikatha Exponent. That's the Reason SPB had that natural flair to grasp MSV's tunes and expectations to put those subtle Sangathis at ease. We could notice it in almost all the compositions he sang under MSV. NOT only that. The Opening AAlaabanaa composed by MSV for SPB invariably remained a tough one like the ones we hear in the Songs PAAdumboadhu Naan Thendral Kaatru, Raagangal 16, and the much complicated composition Nee Oru Raaga Maaligai and even that Opening AAlaabanaa sung by Mano in the Song Koottukkoru Paatirukku Kettukkamma for Senthamizh Paattu that has the Clean Signature of MSV. Very Well Sung by U Ananthu Sir. Had MSV & SPB been alive to see this Presentation given by you, they would have hugged you in delight. Keep it up 👌👍🙏
