Hi, thanks for the kind words. For me personally the Reverb ticks all my boxes for a reverb (especially the shimmer), knowing i’m going to get a proper delay pedal at some stage. I believe the Tempus has the exact same reverb engine as the specular reverb. Maybe without the shimmer mode or something. So it would really depend on the goal. The JU-06A is a great sounding synth for pads and cool melodies but as you said, you’ll need an external sequencer for it since the sequencer is monophonic. And funny you say the NTS-1 because it just popped up on my radar this week. Looks like a really good effects “pedal”. Especially if you consider the 3rd party user effects you can download online. For example a pan effect with an lfo is a really cool effect you can download for the NTS-1 But the plan for me now is to buy a Minilogue XD which has the same effects and if i really really like those i’ll get an NTS-1 for some other gear. The goal of the minilogue for is also to learn how to play the keyboard so i can get a (you guessed it) keystep pro. So i gues you can say we’re pretty like minded! Although i might get a normal keystep for the JU-06A somewhere in between this process to get some more out of the synths since they’re only a 100 bucks or so. @@DarkLightTechno Thanks about the specular, the shimmer is one of the sounds I most want from it so if the Tempus doesn't have it I will go with the specular, I will have to research more.. We for sure have similar tastes in gear as I also have the minilogue XD. It is a beast and I love it. We probably both come to the same gear because we are looking for good bang for the buck. The XD is that for sure. One suggestion would be to go with the XD desktop version, which is the one I bought, it is like $100 less and then get the keystep. The actual keyboard for playing on the keystep is levels better than the XD keyboard and you can use it to control other gear as well. Plus you get all the keystep sequence and arp functionality.. For live jamming it is also nice to have the smaller modules as they take less space and you can keep them together more so you can mess with the controls easily on all your synths without needing to reach too far. I am interested in the new Korg mod wave but will wait for the desktop version in the future. Looking forward to the day when you can get a keystep pro. You will love it, my favorite piece of gear besides my MODx.. I recently bought the newer Korg SQ 64 but didn't really like it, and since it was the same price as the KSpro on sale I exchanged it. I have the last version of the keystep which is a great piece of equipment for the price, you will like it, and the newer version is even better. The NTS-1 can make some great sounds also on its own, so it is a great synth and a great effects engine. The biggest negative by far about it is that it doesn't save any presets, not even the one you are on, so every time you turn it back on you have to reprogram what you want. It would have been a lot better if it at least saved the settings when you turned it off. But for $100, it is a great synth.

@@davidallred991 Thanks for the suggestion. kinda still on the fence about which version to get. The difference around here is about 30 bucks so not alot but i'll see eventually. But great to hear the minilogue XD is liked by you aswell!

​@@DarkLightTechno that ju06a monophonic sequencer 😭 chord mode is a workaround of sorts, or just connecting the sh01a and having its polyphonic sequencer output midi will work, and you can stick with triggering the sh01a 🙂 Anyway, you have proven again that limitations don't stand in the way - another great piece! 👍🏻

I try with midi cable but behringer don't have the same tempo of tr8

@@m0dlrzdjproducer565 MIDI channel is independent of the clock. I think you have to configure the clock type of the crave to MIDI. Can be done with a certain button combo on the crave but its easier to just download the behringer synthtool on the laptop, connect the crave and then select midi as clock type. I think its on internal as standard!

Thanks! Standaard zaag en vierkant doet ie natuurlijk inculsief PWMen klinkt al heel snel prima met een beetje reverb. Verder kan je nog wat dingen patchen maar dat gaat niet een hele ander sound opleveren. Wel kan je de filter spelen wat dus een sinusvorm is, mijn persoonlijke favoriet!
