Sous vide cooking inspired me to this hassle-free, waste-free, mess-free way of melting chocolate. I have admittedly never tried it for larger amounts than the 100g I used in this video, but I can't think of a reason why it wouldn't work just as well (although I guess the bag might need a kneading once or twice).
