This Pashto song dedicated to the culture of Phataans in Pakistan, Afghanistan. Dialogue between two people who can feel the love but can’t understand the language of each other but connecting them through music . Gulay means my love , my sweet heart . Harkalay means welcome. Welcoming a lady to his culture with open arms just like phataans are known for hospitality. Love the song as a Phataan.

Pashto song. Dance form is Atan. Harkalay means welcome. Boys with Henna on hands. Its a cultural thing. They put Henna (mehndi) on palm. And just close it. The henna made different shape for each person. It looks so cute

The purpose of this song is that regardless of language barriers you can still fall in love and express your emotions through words with your own language even when the other person may not understand. So, in other words, sometimes it is not exactly what you say but how you say it with the emotions you feel. More than 2/3 of what we as humans say is not conveyed verbally anyway. It is actually conveyed through our tone and body language.
