Memoirs Of WWII is a short film series dedicated to preserving the history of the Second World War and the memory of those who served. Each month features a new episode, telling the personal story of an individual who endured the greatest conflict the earth has ever seen.
Through the personal accounts of real life World War II veterans, our goal is to honor their sacrifice, and to grant younger generations an understanding of what it was like to live through the war and what lessons can be learned from it. I lost my father in 2017 at the age of 93 . He served from 1943 to 1946, he was in the 3rd army 28th Infantry. And to listen & see these amazing men tell their stories it’s remarkable. 👍🏼🇺🇸

I'm English and I throughly enjoy this content so much because its so eye opening. It's literally history from those who crafted it. Nothing is hidden, the reality is what it is, and people need to know these tales so that we can learn from them with the hopes of not repeating them. I wish other KZfaqrs did one for the uk, I see in the paper too often that our veterans are passing. Keep up the amazing work, maybe you could do a Vietnam version as well.

I’ve just discovered your channel and I’m absolutely hooked. Thank you for all your hard work. I’m so interested in this era and I think it all started for me as a youngster playing in my Nan’s garden and there was an Anderson’s air raid shelter there which had been converted into a shed. She lived in Birmingham, UK 🇬🇧 I,m so grateful to all who fought so bravely and long may their stories continue to be told.

When you show the 2 shots for each person showing them today and then back during the war in combat.. is that actually them like the old clips of them? Or did you just find some random WWII clips and make it look like that’s them from way back when?

Look for and ask for sons of the greatest generation. Col Bud Anderson just celebrated his 100 th Birthday, 13 Jan 2022 , Triple Ace Fighter pilot. Still alive, I guess few are, His son knows his history

Over 260,000 that seams like a lot but there was over 16 million Americans who fought in WW 2
