Well, after 3 and a half years of discovering this song, i came just to thank Men I Trust. They gave me the opportunity of discovering a whole new world called Indie music (with some other artists, of course, like boy pablo, The Marias, etc). After a lot of work, of practicing and learning lots of songs, chords and some music theory, i got to reunite some friends and formed my own indie music band (our songs are on my channel btw). Well, thank YOU guys for inspiring me to pick up my guitar and make new stuff. You are just awesome.

Leaving the metropolis for a smaller city in a few days. Packing boxes, listening to this. Going back closer to home, to friends and family. It's stressful because i'm leaving a lot behind and change is hard but; I see those waves and seagulls and i'm happy because that's where i'm going. this song makes me wanna go back in time and experience the time i had with my him. i don’t know when i’m going to be able to speak to him again. but i think about him every moment. i dreamt of him last night. best dream i ever had. and the only good one i ever had. i want to experience the dream again but in real life. i can’t believe i met the most perfect human being ever. i can’t explain how lucky i am. there is no one like him. he told me “we will speak again” i will wait until he comes back. this song basically is what i feel right now edit (dec 7): still waiting edit 2021: sorry i was so cheesy in that. awkward. but it’s march 30th now 2021 and it’s been 8 months since we cut things off, i think things are getting better and life is okay now, sorta. bye! LOL

I feel this, not as a love song, but as a song about depression, being numb, not being in touch with your feelings. Which i didnt really understand untill 2 years ago when i fell into a deep hole after a heroin overdose which left my hearing reduced in my right ear. I now can relate to this song 100%...unfortunetly
