Mercedes Benz Door Handle Base in Door Frame - Remove & Replace - C-Class - W203 C320

4 жыл бұрынDoor handle sticks out and doesn't sit flat. I'll show you how I removed and replaced the door handle base on the front doors because the exterior door handle was not sitting flat any longer. The door handle base is within the door frame and can be accessed by removing the interior door panel. A little plastic piece had broken off. I will also show you how to remove the interior door panel to be able to get to the door frame and the door handle base. This can be used as a guide for W203 or 2001-2007 Mercedes C-Class Sedans.

- Trim Remover
- Torx T20 Screwdriver
- Torx T30 Screwdriver

Have the same problem, but with the rear driver side door on my C240. Been looking everywhere for an idea on how to fix and your video seems to be the best so far. Getting to that backing plate or bearing plate as it is called in the manual is relatively easy. Looks like the hard part will be getting it back in and aligned properly. That's the part I don't quite understand because it is done in the blind. Good vid and thanks for the clue

Are the chrome pieces on the door handle removable I’m looking to replace it because mine started to peel do I have to take apart the entire door to do so?
