I watched this video few times to understand "how this is safe to do" and it is only if you understand what is going on this video. You can try that way, but you need to make sure the markings on the engine and camshaft flange match during and after installation of new part - what is explained at 54s. It is worth to try changing the adjuster that way. Worst case you would need to do it traditional way if the camshaft rotates during installation.

Thank you for the video. What codes are associated with this issue? Is it p0018? I tested the cam solenoid and sensors but neither one was the issue
