This video is about /Applies to all Mercedes Benz M class W164 (ML 280 CDI ) in particular.
If you have a problem with Rear lights, brake lights,turn signal , reverse lights and fog lights of M Class look no further because a major reason for failure is corrosion / water in the rear light SAM control Module located in the trunk near the fusebox.
In this videos I take you through how to perform Onboard Diagnostics using #BOSCH #KTS350 2018 and trouble shooting of Mercedes Benz Rear Lights acquisition controls which gives a signal to power the lights.
This modules does what we call substitution in case one bulb is blown,the module powers another light in a different bulb to signal other road users.

Hey man, av had this problem on and off for a long time, it normally corrects itself after a little while, but you have just made it so easy for me to check which I appreciate so much as I have looked and checked on different forums but you just nailed it 👍👊👍👊👊👍

Good morning, great mind please my Mercedes Benz gl320 bluetec is having tail lights problem all the tail lights not working liftgate no opening automatically my real SAM is not corroded so, please help me thank you.

Its most likely a defective Rear SAM though you need to perform a verified fix by MB Star DAS scanner in order to perform SAM module diagnostic,programming and SCN coding.Dont forget to subscribe.

You can reach Mercedes benz dealer or you could have it through online sites or technically me, remember, if you buy that SAM,it needs to be coded, you will need to have it programmed. The dealer is not your only option. If you have a mechanic in your area that has an authorized MB Star DAS scanner, they will be able to perform SAM module programming and SCN coding.

Ho problema con le luci non funziona la mia centralina sam posteriore ha questo codice 28041414 e bruceata ho cercato un altra con lo stesso codice ma non lo trovo per caso si potrebbe cambiare altra con un altro codice? Grazie mille

Grazie per la risposta, iscriviti al mio canale, Quello che devi fare è procurarti un'altra unità di controllo posteriore SAM situata nella parte posteriore destra del bagagliaio o del bagagliaio, dopo averla fissata lì ti verrà richiesto di programmarla sull'auto poiché alcune funzioni potrebbero non funzionare come l'indicatore del carburante e gli interni luci
