Mercedes c-class S203 W203 Brake service brembo caliper rebuild

Repair and maintenance of brembo brakes on a Mercedes c-class model S203/W203 from the year 2003. The procedure is shown without completely disassembling the brake caliper (as many other videos show). This method is preferred so as not to compromise the brembo brake caliper itself.

This is the same brembo as the one in the r129?

My car is an S203 from late 2003 with the original sports package. As far as I can tell my calipers have part numbers 00 242 084 83 (FR) and 00 242 083 83 (FL) and I can see they cross reference the W203 and R171 but I can't see if they are the same as used for R129. The procedure for cleaning the pistons, changing o-rings and dust caps is roughly the same for all brake calipers. You just have to avoid opening the brake caliper itself, as that procedure may require new original stretch bolts (must not be reused) and o-rings etc.

Как так? W203 sport paket идёт с 2 piston caliber. Почему у тебя 4 pistons caliber? 🤔🤔🤔. А какой диаметр тормозные диски?

Я считаю, что есть две версии спортивных пакетных тормозов. Мой выпущен в конце 2003 года и оснащен 4-поршневыми тормозами. Некоторые более поздние модели имели двухпоршневые тормоза. Я не знаю точно, когда это изменилось. Возможно, это даже зависит от страны. У меня диски брембо 330мм.

Hi, In the video, (at about 24:01) I use "CRC Brakelube Pro". It is a grease that is very water-resistant and can withstand high temperatures without running. The grease does not contain metals and can therefore be used on parts of various metals without galvanic corrosion occurring.
