Hi mate, may i ask do you need to release the parkIng brake (pull the P handle under dash) or leave parking brake ON position when change the pads.My one is CLA200 2014. Thanks mate !

Hi teacher, you need to relief the calipers by press on the screen the pads replacement only for the rear pads ,isn't it? Or even when you change the front pads you need to go to the screen and do that as well? Thankyou !

No only rear pads, front pads change normally

Hi Mate, you dont have to do this on v class as the electronic parking brake is not part of the caliper, the electronic parking brake operates the shoes inside the disc, (old style)

Hi yes it does, excluding the new V class, and the W221 S class..

Do you have to take both rear wheels before you use the pad fitting function? off or can indonthis 1 side at a time??

You can do the fitting function without taking the wheels off, so you can do the function and do 1 side at a time once the pads are all fitted and bolts all tight you can exit fitting position 👍

Usually if parking brake is on it wont let you do it

When you push the piston back. Is it just pressure what pushes it back. Or do you need to spin it clockwise and push back at same time?

Just pressure no spinning required

I did that and it did not work because you forgot to tell to pull the barking brake off , if not it will tell you that there is not the condition to retract the caliper . I became crazy .is only looking another video , I was ok .
