Mercedes racing cars from 1935. Renovation and repair of Marklin models.

Recently I received three models of Marklin racing Mercedes from one period. All models had problems with the alloy of the metals they were made of. I decided to devote a film to them, in which I tried to bring them back to their former glory. In addition to renovation repairs, in the video I also show how I made resin driver figures and individual model boxes. Thank you for watching the video, I publish car repair videos on Tuesdays and Saturdays. You can turn on subtitles in your language with commentary on the activity in the video.

An amazing lesson in diecast restoration!❤ The brittle nature of old and distressed Pre-World War Two metallurgy for diecasts makes these survivors special and scarce. The reformation and stabilizing techniques you used were exacting and nerve wracking. Drilling the pillars and threading them must have been very worrisome. One false step and the castings could have cracked. Beautifully and carefully done!! These three fragile survivors are now protected and saved because of you. I feel no other restorer can do to the things you do! Congratulations, and thank you for the amazing video. The boxes you created were inspired... and completely apropo to the times these cars were new. Best, Stephen

Triplo restauro per un unico tema. Le auto da record di velocità Mercedes degli anni '30. Una pagina pionieristica nella storia automobilistica e una fotografia del modellismo del lontano passato . 3 restauri spettacolari . Sempre tanti complimenti!

Większość ludzi zna Märklin poprzez modele pociągów. Firma budowała także modele odlewane (do lat 70. XX wieku). A co do renowacji... Specjalne narzędzie do zdejmowania kół... Jakie to jest świetne ? 😎👍🏼 (Wspomniałem już o moim pierwszym, osobistym wydarzeniu. 😄) Więcej „wspaniałych chwil”... Naprawa karoserii, nowa produkcja sterowników 🤩👍🏼 i oczywiście "oryginalne opakowanie". Świetna robota Paweł, jestem zachwycony. Zdecydowanie trzy kciuki w górę za to 👍🏼 👍🏼 👍🏼 😉 Dziękuję za udostępnienie 🙏🏼 i tak trzymaj, przyjacielu 😃 Życzę miłego tygodnia Tobie i Twojej rodzinie, bądźcie zdrowi i pogodni. Eine sehr lohnende Restaurierung, die die Rennwagen wieder fit gemacht hat für den nächsten Einsatz. Sehr schöne Lackierung. Nun ist es ein schönes Trio für einen Sammler. Lovely models, sensitively and beautifully restored. Given the timeframe these are from, I am made slightly uncomfortable by the thought that their original owner could have been a Nazi. Stupid, I know, but the thought popped into my head as soon as I saw '1935'.

Un fenomenal desafío trabajar esos modelos de casi 100 años de antigüedad con importantes grietas en la aleación. Que gruesas eran las piezas, más allá de la fallas del metal, tenían relativamente poca corrosión. ¿Cuanto duran esas uniones de cianocrilato con aglutinante? Quedaron realmente prolijas, mucho trabajo y experiencia al repararlas. Esos modelos de Mercedes Benz de competición eran una leyenda en las carreras deportivas anteriores a la 2a GM.

pudełka robię sam . filmy o tym jak robię pudełka są na moim kanale niestety .nie spotkałem się z gotową stroną z której można pobrać gotowe szablony .Wszystko muszę robić ręcznie, opracowywać w programie graficznym i następnie drukować, Pozdrawiam serdecznie

I seriously doubt that the 2 cars whose under trays read "Made in Germany" were actually made during the 1930's in Hitler's Nazi Germany. Those 2 cars were probably made postwar, but were toys modeled after 1930's era racing cars.
