Hey man, I just wanted to say thank you. This video really REALLY helped me out. I've Just fixed my customers convertible E350 with exactly this fault. Footwell was full of water. Thankfully I was able to do what you did and shift the connections over to unused ones on the terminator module. Worked perfectly. Thanks again. 👍

hello, I have a mercedes benz e class, I have a problem with the lever, I put it in drive or reverse and it jumps into parking, and this can't always be from the lever?

I have a ML 350 2013 have similiar issues but not warning msg but i noticed if i open the driver door and turn the car will go out of park also is intermittent , what software are you using for reading the wiring diagram that you used on this video , thank you , great troubleshooting.

In my experience, this could a problem with the TCM. The software is WIS which stands for workshop information system, this software is written by Mercedes Factory, very easy to install. If you need this software, just contact me Whatsapp +84949883239

i am having an issue with my ism having me stuck in park and i purchased cloned c3 with xentry from china and everything is all connected shows up part_d then when i run the DAS it disconnects, anyone know how to fix this? i need to diagnose it before i just buy an ism and waste several hundred dollars if it turns out to be something else, and i can't afford to have my truck dragged onto a flatbed and then dragged off it, and dragged onto a lift.

I have a situation where by the car wont move at lower gear you need to place pedal hard and for really long time for it to move slowly, and there are no fault codes, we are still struggling with the car,

Hey Bud I have been driving myself crazy over this issue on my 2016/C300. I just saw this video and would like to ask if possibly you can assist on guidance so that I can locate the main cause of this if different from what you explained here. @@jamiecampbell638 hey just saw this, my bad. But it’s an electronic issue of course. It end it up having to be replaced. I cannot pinpoint what piece exactly it was as after breaking my head trying to figure out and two friend mechanics trying I took it to MB specialist.

This is located under the floor mat of the front passenger, right where they the passenger put their feet

Thanks for sharing. I have a 2011 R350. The car will shift into R, D, N, P on the instrument cluster but wont move in D or R. I did a scan with my Launch tool and recorded some fault codes. Some of them saved as "stored and current" and others as "stored". On the ISM, I have P179D00(stored &current), U010187(stored), U010087(stored), U012187(stored), P179A16(stored), On the TCM, I have C426 (stored &current), D13A (stored), C141(stored), C167(stored), C155(stored). please where do I start from as my car cannot move in either D or R. thank you

@@yemia9111 water damaged my front SAM and that affected a whole bunch of module. i replaced the front sam and EIS and that fixed my problem

Wow.. thanks for the quick reply Where are those parts located ? I have R320 , mine is kind of intermittent roughly once every few months at morning start up

@@yemia9111 It depends on the trouble codes you are having. i will advise you get it scanned and that will narrow your seach to the specifics. However, the front SAM is under the front passenger seat just by the side of the battery. you will need to remove the battery (under the front passenger seat) to have access to it. The EIS Is the part where you insert your key.

Don’t have any error code or check engine light messages but could be a stored error code. I will change the battery in the fob first as the EIS and key fobs were replaced in 2015.

Had the same error. Checked my battery and it was showing as 20% juice left. Changed battery and it was sorted.

Have the same issues with an ML...I went to the car and there was no fault code after scanning and then when I cleared and started the car it ran and the gear selected properly....now this morning I'm called that it's not starting anymore....root problem is that the battery was changed.

Yes. Changed the battery and reconfigured the car as it is a start stop car. All good since

Alright....I have an x100 pad.......I'll go back and see what's wrong with the battery as it has been changed initially before the issue started.

If your car is start / stop model it had to be reconfigured for the new battery.
