I just tried your build order in a 4v4 team fight in South East Asia server, it works pretty well! I built my second TC by 5:30 and then rush for castle age's Golden Horn landmark, by 10:00 I've already have 20 Varangian guards, 5 cataphracts, 1 mangonel, 10 longbows, 2 camel cavs and 2 war elephants! (I built my first mercenary house in a secured trade post) I really enjoy playing in a playstyle recommended in your content, it's like cooking something nice by my own with the instruction from a master's recipe. Hey valdemar thanks for the video. Im so interested in these early economic boost strats for byz. However im really struggling to get the TC right at feudal up. Im always short wood because i have to drop the house so my 20->30 pop cap doesnt stop vills. Also i seem to always be shy wood and my vil go to tree line before i have the wood for the house+TC

I kept failing to fc even with 1 tc Byzantine , got no counter to +2 maa in ageii 6 -7 min in, especially vs abasis variant
