Meredith, I'm trying to start this now. Biggest things are quitting smoking before I start immunotherapy, and cutting sugar out. You're an amazing example for us here. I've cut back on the tobacco (I know I can do that one) but will struggle more so with the sugar. I'm gonna do keto but I'm afraid doing both at the same time will be hard. Working towards a better me from here on out. Thanks for your encouragement and tips!

First of all, you are so brave for taking on new goals for yourself. And here’s the thing… those are two BIG goals. And if you can cut out tobacco, but you struggle with cutting sugar some days, don’t give up on yourself. Do your best, and give yourself grace when you mess up. I will be rooting for you!!!! Don’t lose sight of those goals, and imagine how you will feel one year from now if you stick with it ❤️ you got this!

Wow. This is so helpful. I love my current exercise routine. It looks like I am not only underweight according to the BMI calculator, but my protein is probably less than half of what it should be. Yikes!! I am going to change these things. I have trouble sleeping so I need something besides an OTC sleep aid. I will try it! I really needed this video today Meredith. Thank you so much ❤

Hi friend 💛..l this very subject is si close to my heart… I am now 63 years old, and I would say, having my mother pass away now 8 years ago, this really triggered me to take my health to another level. I think it was facing my own mortality, it gave me a surge to want to eat heathy, I no longer eat red meats, only poultry (this because I love chicken) and it is a good source of protein). I walk 5 miles everyday and have my green juice with protein powder in the mornings. I must say small changes have made a huge impact on my health and my mood. Please continue your vlogs on this subject, I truly enjoy them 💛✨🙏

Having to face your mortality can be tough! Whether that’s from losing a loved one, or being handed a cancer diagnosis… they both can be a huge wake-up call, and really motivate us to take our health seriously! I wish it didn’t always take something so horrible and tragic to make us realize this, and I hope I can share this message without people having to go through tragedy to reach for a healthy lifestyle ❤️ thanks so much for watching!

I agree and I’m 70 years old, walk every day with my dogs and go to the gym 3-4 times a week, you’re never too old 😊

Thank you for really engaging with the community you've created here. I'll defiitely email you after the holidays to get some guidance/advice on my preparation for running the half-marathon in Athens, Greece next year. Again, congratulations on completing your half-marathon. I would have done the same thing you did....make sure I actually ran the "full" distance of a half-marathon. It just speaks to your character. I haven’t. To be honest, I’m hesitant to listen to too much “cancer-specific” diet talk, because there’s so much conflicting information. So for my mental health, I made the decision to eat what makes me feel good, and that has gone really well for me.
