It depends the sample rate. The formula is buffer size/Sample rate frequency= latency (seconds) . At 44.1 kHz that will make 5.8 ms and at 96 kHz it'll be 2.6 ms

Hello, One could use and Anubis only with IPaes67 speakers and a switch, that would be the other possibility for a Dolby Atmos setup. But yes, for the time being if you need Analog or AES/EBU outputs, a HAPI MkII + and Anubis are needed. Zman chip equips indeed both, Anubis and HAPI MkII, but the functionalities and the design of the device are not the same. We are not excluding that at one point in time Zman chip within the HAPI MkII will get some features that exist in Anubis - but this could be a future project amongst many others. We do not think that HAPI lacks features, it is used for other purposes such as an audio multitrack i/o device of the highest quality with up to 16 Mic/pre and high quality outputs + 8 AES/EBU and 8ADAT. The 2 slots hosting the Analog i/o cards could also be populated with a MADI card or a PT64 for a Pro Tools HD DAW. All those features are not available on Anubis and both are very complementary to each other. I hope this gives a bit more clarity about the functionalities of each device.

Simply connects to your computer via ethernet

If you do not have an Ethernet connection on your computer, you may use a USBc to Ethernet or Thunderbolt to Ethernet. Be aware it has to be 1GB Ethernet adaptor (it is very common today)

Anubis has 4 analog IN + 8 analog OUT, if you need more i/o you can combine it with another Anubis or another converter over the network

@@MergingTechnologies I guess you got my question wrong- all I need is to have just one interface, and quit the RME....- Zeno other units into my studio- So I don’t know how is this one working as a standalone, main interface.... As for the more inputs, no l do not need more (for now)- But it’s good to know that I can connect with my friends, from different continents...

@@viociarnau1670 Sorry for the misunderstanding. Yes, ANUBIS is working perfectly as a stand-alone interface. We provide the virtual sound card as well to connect it over the network to your computer (either MAC or PC Win10) it all comes with ANUBIS.

@@MergingTechnologies what is the latency of this unit? (everybody has a latency, unless they say “zero latency”, which is very hard to believe...) RME is well known to have one of the very low latency compared with other units, when they talk about their flagship unit UFX+... Also, can you say that those converters are as good (or even better) as other amazing names out there- Prism Atlas, Burl, Apogee, Orion...etc etc? A lot of info is how to connect it with the network , etc etc... but I’m very interested to buy something like this, as a pure interface, with amazing converters, and easy to hook it up to my PC...- no glitches, no latency, no headache..., but an amazing workflow sound and results...! I would appreciate to see a video of the unit , working pure with instruments, in a studio set up... not what the touch screen/Menu can do.... - I forgot to ask you about its connection with my computer -is it working faster than thunderbolt? Also if you guys declare that this unit is so amazing, why don’t I see more comments and talk about this interface? I’m doing a lot of research for a good interface with amazing converters, but I don’t see people talking about this one too much...- why not? Are you planning in coming with the new device with more inputs s as me maybe TB, or this is it? Thank you for your reply/time

@@viociarnau1670 Anubis has a built in Mixer so that there is NO latency for example playing back your DAW and adding a vocal or an instrument, there is no latency on your headphone due to the internal mixer. To understand how it works I would suggest that you have a look at the webinars kzfaq.info/get/bejne/fcukh8ed1pvcY3k.html TB circuit is included, you even have a small microphone built in. In which country are you based, the best is perhaps you get in touch with a dealer

Hello, Aneman is not a driver that will connect things automatically, it is like a virtual patch. So if you have your Anubis and your computer visible, than you can connect the i/o of those devices in Aneman. I had everything set up as should be... but I have been advised that older firmware can have problems being seen by the latest Aneman and MAD, So I will be using the old versions to update firmware to the latest - hopefully that will allow Aneman to see the Anubis. I could control it via browser but Aneman couldn't see it at all.... Cheers.
