Great channel Kieran, I'm new to it and am working my way through your great videos. I'm just wondering if you could clear something up for me? My first job was in Museum St in the early 80s near to Bank Quay station. My mum ( Warrington born and bred) told me a story about the nearby police station there at the time. She said back in the days of horses and carts a horse had dropped dead near the Parr Hall and the first person on the scene was a police Sergeant. He pulled rank and got several Constables to drag the horse around the corner so his report could say the horse died in Bold St because he couldn't spell Palmyra (Sq) 😀My mum swore it was true but it has urban myth written all the way through it for me! Just wondering if you've heard this story yourself and if it really is true. Great channel, keep up the good work Kieran. 👍

I rode that path through Crosfield's last week, and boy does it feel like you shouldn't be there!!!! Came in the opposite way you came in, past the bridge @ 10mins41secs. There were a number of tents pitched, and it seems a small community of rough sleepers. None were present when I passed, but I felt it could perhaps get dodgy in that situation, so beware? Another brilliant video, you appear to recite all this history from memory............You ARE Rainman, ha ha.

Great video. It is odd the council thought the mural would distract motorists but not the advertising/sponsorship which adorns every roundabout in Warrington. Ooh but I forgot the council gets money for the sponsorship. NB the chemical isn,t completely shutdown as the Crossfields/PQ bit continues to make silicas and has operated separately from the Lever bit for many years.

Interesting video, I hope the transporter bridge is preserved. I tried to get to where you were one summer, but couldn't get through the forest of giant hogweed.

It was all still there but dried up because its winter. The hogweed is getting bad around Warrington.
