The whole moral lesson of the ant arc ( as far as i understood) was : No matter how insanly strong the "ant" is, the human race will always manage at the end...And that's the reason why they made mereum and his royal guards so abnormally strong, but in the end all it took was an old man sacrifice combined with a nuke -.-

No matter how strong or the strongest nen user netero was he was still 1 human... 1 "old man" I didn't feel like humanity was in any danger during this arc..

akhs denlew I dont even know the point you are trying to argue anymore but if you are trying to about Alluka's powers, then I suggest you read up on them. You are right, humanity was in never any real danger from the ants since they had countermeasures, hence why the ants as a whole were only a B threat. If left unchecked, than humanity wouldve been destroyed, especially since the ant army would only grow stronger and increase over time. But the nuke as a whole was to show that humanity collectively with evolution and malice is able to create a weapon to powerful and "evil", it can even kill a being as powerful as Meruem.
