I've seen this video at least 150 times. And I always watch it entirely. There is something so satisfying about the drums part on this song, especially when the china goes in 4/4 (1:30). Perfect.

One of The Greatest. Ever. But his drumming skills are more of a demonstration of his is really about his other-worldly musicianship. He is a great, great musician. He understands everything about musical composition. Delivery. Emotion. Instrumental interaction. Arrangment. Placement. Dynamics. Accents. Timing. Melody. Lyrical content. Tbe big picture. Everything. The plays the kit the way a great pianist plays the keyboard. All praise and due respect to Mr. Haake.

A lotnof their songs have the snare beat on 3 out of the 4 bar measure. So maybe hes nodding to the 4/4 beat while hitting the snare on over 1 or 3?
