All the three players are great in their own way. However, Maradona is something else at the height of his carrier. Particularly, during the 1986 world cup in Mexico, he was magician. I haven't seen any player plying like that in the world stage and carry the whole team to victory.

I'm old (and fortunate) enough to have watched all these three players in action. Pele in 1960s. Maradona in 70-80s and Messi current. They were all great, geniuses actually! Very hard to choose but if you put a gun to my head...Messi because his competition now is tougher than before.
