Watch my mixed media spreads come to life today using a few leaves I foraged and a gelli plate! Gathering and Shadow were the two Art prompts for day 13 and 14 of this month long challenge hosted by ‪@GetMessyArt‬
As with all my mixed media junk journal pieces, my goal is to play and see what comes up in the moment. Every scrap of paper is utilized. There are no bad pulls from a gelli plate!

oooh love the skeleton leaves you found! 😃👍🏼 Oh Neat! I found the same quote... (slightly different wording, but basically the same... and added it to my shadow page). (about not being afraid of the shadow - because it means light is shinning nearby.). 😃👍🏼 Both pages are beautiful. well done. 😃💖👍🏼

Hope the first leaves you used are not poison ivy. It looks like it. Wash hands with soap quickly.

omg omg omg I think you have solved a mystery!! I haven't been showing my face the last few days as I got a rash all over one side of my face and ended up at urgent care trying to figure out what was going on! I bet it was these leaves because I'm super sensitive and totally didnt wash between the painting and likely touching my cheek!!!
