I'm almost certain the Pokemon sweatshop part of the trailer is being done by the villains who are shooting at you.

This turned out so well. Though some of those mechanics did not make it into the eary release version. Since its still early access they may still implement a lot of the trailer features.

I really love playing it! I'm still not in the end game yet, but I'm getting there. I'm excited to see what they end up introducing as they polish things off and move towards the 1.0 build.

Thing's I found out about this game 1. There is a short campaign 2. There are different pal rarities 3. For right now it's only on pc (steam) 4. The building system is like Ark survival evolved 5. There is co-op 6. There's between 100 and 150 species of pal 7. Some buildings are pre-existing, by the way of V-Rising ( developer's word's not mine) 8. Pals have 4 customizable skills ( developer's words not mine) These came from a Recent Q and A on their Discord.

Q: Will there be different rarities for Pals? TM: Of course, yes! Q: Have the hardware requirements changed? TM: Probrably yes, we'll check. Q: Once captured, can pals die or will they just faint? That penguin rocket launcher got me thinking. TM: I really want Pals to die permanently sometimes. (But don't worry. They are tough.) "Fainted" will also be implemented. Q: Will the game have a story and a storyline progression? TM: short storyline. Q: will there be different varients/shinys of pals? TM: I'm thinking! Q: Will there be multiple dedicated servers I can run by myself? TM: Should be. Q: Would the devs ever be interested in an AMA on reddit? TM: Interesting. Q: Will the game be on other Platforms, such as Xbox? TM: we'd like to support other platform as well. For now, there is no information. Q: In a few of the trailers we saw Pals fuse. Will all be able to fuse? and if so with set pals or with anyone? TM: All should be able to fuse. Some pals might fuse to something special. Q: is there a building like ark survival or is it pre-build building that you place down? TM: Of course, you an build like in other games. Q: Will there be romance options for your characters with npc’s that are not bandits? TM: hahaha, some npcs looks really cute. and you know, there are also female Pals.... TM: 50%...70%...100%..Gotcha! or sometimes it fails Q: Can you be part of a villian team like Team Rocket or Galactic? TM: Up to you, I hope you are beautiful mind Q: Will there be stealth options in combat? TM: there is sanity rather than affection. I wonder if you would understand what I want to say... Q: Will PalWorld link to Vroid like Craftopia? TM: Not sure for now. Q: Can I build a factory and give my Pals unfair wages? TM: Yes! You don't even need to pay any wages just need to feed them or they die. Q: Will the game have cool boss fights and petting sim for some PalWorld creatures? TM: Yes! Q: Will we be able to customize characters? TM: Yes! Q: What is the scale of the current map going to look like? TM: Can't describe the exact size, but I think it is large. Q: Is there a type of element system like water moves being strong against fire? TM: Yes! Q: Will we have multiple save files? TM: Should have. Q: Torture? TM: I love it. Q: Is there an enchantment system like Craftopia? TM: No, PalWorld already has a lot of systems. But I'd like to squeeze a Pal to get essensse. Q: Who does the music composition? TM: Tatsuya Yano, who is famour for Atelier Series in Koei Q: It’s been revealed that Pals can work for you as either paid employees or slaves. What form of payment do Pals take? TM: Did slaves ever recieve payment in history? Q: Is it going to have a seamless map from the beginning or will it have the little maps like craftopia? TM: Open World Q: we see multiple people trying to possibly catch a pal, if once the pal defeted everyonr gets one or must they fight for it? TM: Guys must be friends, right? No ball-throwing races. Q: Will we be able to plant explosive in pals and then let them walk around to trick other players, which then get killed by the explosion? TM: Palworld is pieceful world! (Note: Some members believe that piece being used here is a play on words, in that you can blow Pals into pieaces. Others believe it is the issue with the translator that TM was using)

It's ok, you know how Pokemon only ever faint, and never die? That's all that's going on there. It's just a more realistic application of what humans would do with animals that lack the ability to let death overcome them.
