I am 84 years old, not a heavy metal listener and have heard this sung many times in my lifetime but I am blown away by this version of Amazing Grace.!!! My favorite version by far!!! Love you Dan Vasc!!!

When I first heard Dan sing amazing Grace, it touched me in a way that I hadn’t been touched by music since I heard Disturbed sing Sound of Silence. It is absolutely breathtaking and just keeps getting better and better every time I hear it.

I was hoping you would react to this! Dan is from Brazil. His father gave him a harmonica as a child & it fit in so well with "Amazing Grace." You should also watch his "American Trilogy" (Elvis cover) he dedicated to his father the week his dad died in 2017. I have honestly loved each of his videos I have watched.

Dan’s use of the harmonica took this to another level! Sounds like Scottish Highlander bagpipes. His sincerity shows his heart and his heart has been found to be good. God’s amazing grace has found him! 🙏👑🙏 What a voice the Lord blessed him with and in turn he has blessed us all with it. ❤

Loved your reaction to this song! Welcome to Vasc Nation! Everyone who hears Dan Vasc and this song have the same jaw dropping, ear-to-ear, head shaking grin at how epic this performance is! Just wait til you hear his other songs - 200+ great covers... Gethsemane, My mother told me, Battle Hymn, Several Witcher covers, Handel's Messiah, Nessun Dorma -- all fantastic. He's Brazilian - native language is Portuguese. His dad gave him a harmonica when he was 7 (his dad passed away from cancer about 5 years ago). Dan is genuine - pours his whole soul into every performance. Truly epic voice. Do more reactions to his work - it was great!!

I have watched this everyday since it first came into my KZfaq feed a week ago. After watching numerous other videos he's posted on his page, especially the ones where he's just talking (love his humor, his honesty, love for his dogs AND his healthy diet), I decided to subscribe. I think this is maybe the 3rd time I've subscribed to someone since KZfaq began this whole thing. Honestly? I had a very narrow concept/opinion of metal music until this. I reviewed some of his lists of influences and discovered many metal singers have incredible voices, with training background. I should note I am a few months shy of 69, raised 5 sons who constantly bring new music to my attention, have 5 grandchildren, still working FT at a cool job. I am always open to new learning experiences and this young man opened my mind/acceptance of one more musical arena....metal. Thank you Dan. On that note....Dan, if you see this....how about some versions of Dire Straits?

I was somewhat reluctant because as a believer, I hold this song in high respect and was concerned it would not show the reverence it deserves. MAN!!! He did it so well. Only someone who knows what it feels like to be that wretch who has found the grace of God and salvation could feel what it looks and sounds as though he did. Excellent!

Daniel sang this song the way it was meant to be sung, forever. It is a testimony to the evolution of faith: at the beginning we see the reverent shyness of a recent convert and at the end we see the joy of the son who - recognized and accepted - gratefully throws himself into the Father's arms. Dan is a musical genius - he takes any song he wants and turns it into something better. He becomes the song he sings. He commented that as his faith grew stronger, he began to choose his versions more carefully so that he could bring people only high vibrations of joy, hope, real power and gratitude. I'm not sure how he went about training his voice, but he said he started singing after he left the (Brazilian) army when he was about 18 or 19.
