Hopsin started Funk Volume with Damien Ritter’s brother, SwizZz. They named him the president and he screwed them over in the process. It’s a true story just like everything else he comes out with. He started Undercover Prodigy and this was his first project on his new label. Nice reaction

I have the last 2 lines of the pastor's preaching tattooed on my arm, this song came at a weirdly accurate time in my life, not only that but it was dropped on my birthday so this song has a place in my heart for more than being a dope diss and a good bop

Hopsin created funk volume as a label and Damien Ritter was made president, he is the brother to SwizZz who was a member aswell of the label, along with Jarren Benton and Dizzy Wright.

And to answer your question sir, yes his label screwed him. I truly appreciate your reactions, I have to say that as someone that plays or used to play guitar drums as well as recently picking back up the keys.. you're part of the reason that I'm getting back into music. I'm eternally grateful for that.
