Tech loves metal. He also has a song with Serj Tankian (from System of a Down) called 'Straight Out The Gate' which is also pretty good - I'd think you'd like it.

SOOO glad to see someone from the other side of the music spectrum (rock based) find and appreciate this song. I grew up young with rock, drifted to hip hop and fell in love with tech n9ne 10+ years ago. Tech wrote this song not very long after his mother passed away after a long time of struggling with different illnesses. Tech has an entire ep of rock based songs but this to me is the cream of the crop. The emotion that's in the lyrics alone set this apart. Glad someone else found this and appreciated the range of different emotions and sounds this song brings.

tech does some other solid collabs. "straight out the gate" is another good one, that time with serj from SOAD. though if you do listen to it, i highly recommend the Scott Stevens remixed version of it.

Riot maker was the worst song for him to do first. Riot maker is a hit because of the live performance. Im trying to get Dirty to do "fragile" and "straight out the gate"

Love your channel. I'm about to 23, and rock out to Pantera (grew up on it) one minute, then go to Tech N9ne, to Stevie Nicks, country, back to rock, and you get the idea. Enjoyable to see someone else understand it real music.

You should definitely check out more Tech. Dude is a fucking monster. He’s got such a wide range of music that even if you don’t like the next one you hear try a different album and there’s a good chance you’ll like what you hear. Personal favorites are cursed, yadda yadda yadda, the paseo, like I ain’t, am I a psycho... I could go on and on.
