I am passionate about our history and the preservation of heritage. Ive done my share on the golf fields, and I did enjoy it back then, but of course good nuggets were more abundant on the fields. And a little bit easier to find. You are absolutely right about hunting coin's and relics, Though gold goes back beyond the history of man, It does not carry "our" history with it the way those personal finds do, Nearly every coin or relic we find, the questions pop into our mind, of the who and why of them, But every now and then they divulge there secrets and can carry us on a path of dicovery, A path we knew nothing about, until we uncover its story. Detecting and history are intertwined, That is why its more than just a hobby, And thats why I enjoy it so much!... I must say you looked extremely comfortable out front Luke, and I wish I had been there. Way to go Mate, you presented yourself, and detecting extremely well! Cheers!

Hi there @wayne armstrong I am so far behind on my replies lately sorry mate. However what a fantastic day this was sharing my stories and favourite detecting experiences. I was a bit shy to begin with as usual...but once I get talking about what I love, it's hard for me to stop😆😁 I can't wait to be sharing more of these talks in future and even beginning our very own Dig It Detecting training days very soon to mate🙂 Thanks so much again for watching Wayne, I can't wait to see you on the next mate🤝👍

@@DigItDetecting Yeah! It's alright for me to drop a comment here and there, it wouldn't be anywhere near as time consuming as what you have to do after every video. I wonder how you manage to fit everything in! I have a tendency to loose track of my thoughts in regular verbal conversations, it doesn't take much to put me off course. For me to do what you have done here, I would have to memorize the whole script. As I did many years ago doing stage plays, it's the only time I've ever known exactly what I had to say, memorizing my lines as well as the lines of those I was coversing with. You had your outline of what you had to say, and you were well versed in your accumulated knowledge from experience, that makes a big difference in how you presented yourself. In other words, you knew what you were talking about! And you did it well! Good on you Luke, Cheers Mate!

Thanks so much again @wayne armstrong it must be all those long days spent alone in dusty paddocks talking to myself that helps me know what to say😆 Plus as you mentioned mate, it's easy to talk about something that you have done thousands of times over and had the experience. @@DigItDetecting Speaking of Jackets, they've both been in full use since it started getting cold, Ive been wearing the vest jacket the last few days, I'm actually wearing it now, it's keeping my back and chest warm and leaving my arms a bit free'er to do my jobs with. And they've both been out detecting several times as well. I'm glad to have them both, especially the diamond jacket! Cheers and don't worry about responding to this and other recent comments Ive posted. I can't stop yaking today! Hooroo!
