Venom and Big Boss both are soldiers with decades of experience. They aren't exactly using their eyes as much as muscle-memory and the innate "feeling" of where the round will be. You start to do the logistics of getting a bullet downrange subconsciously, and your body reacts appropriately.

Every op since the Virtuous Mission was done by FOX, and anything Snake left behind was cleaned up by XOF. They were the phantom crew, being in the shadows while being screwed over by Zero. Naturally like there is a Snake for FOX, his opposite, his equal, was a Skull Face for XOF. It’s two sides of a coin meeting face to face, both with Zero as their common enemy. Skull Face hates BB because he’s Zero’s homie, while Skull Face lost everything and is discarded like a tool. But more over he just hates Zero and is motivated to bring him down, including MSF because that was effectively Zero’s personal army without BB or Kaz knowing this. He didn’t know Diamond Dogs rose out of MSF with now a vendetta against him, until his own goals for stopping Zero came into play. It’s XOF vs FOX, they’re both separate groups, not one that changed its name.

I personally believe it's plain symbolism on how his original tongue and culture had been replaced by more Western standards and having to speak English all the time. The Lone Ranger is a recognisable Western figure from just the mask alone. I mean, for someone whose origins are planted far from the West, he speaks in an obvious General American accent, and his literal lasts words are quoting the Apollo 1 fire; I think it's safe to say he thinks of the spread of Western culture and ideals equivalent to his own parasites given how its shaped him into something entirely different than how he started off.
