In part nine of our recap of the Metal Gear series, we looked at Liquid Ocelot’s ultimately successful and devastating attempts to take control of the system known as the Sons of the Patriots. In the tenth and final part of this series, we will take a look at how the conflict between Liquid and Snake comes to a head and how the series concludes its dramatic story.

And there we have it, the complete story of the Metal Gear saga, from start to finish. After approximately 34,000 words and over 190 minutes of collective footage, this massive undertaking finally comes to an end, and we really hope you enjoyed it. Either way, as always, please tell us what you thought of it, or if you think we missed anything of importance, in the comments section. We are also considering an additional video that answers some of the biggest questions in the series but we need you, our community to say what questions they want answered. been waiting on pins and needles for this last video. This series is incredible, its thought provoking as to its subject matter and it's real world counterpart, and just awe inspiring at Kojimas abilities not just as a game creator but as a writer, a graphic artist, a social commentator, a philosopher if you will. Ze Fok is this story. How did Kojima possibly create this? Or he just made it up on spot while developing the games,because If he did do plan out this whole thing, then I don't know how did he remember these billion plot twists.

Well, considering how each character seem to be at least a triple agent (sometimes without knowing so), you can retcon a lot of shit without it looking like it.

Of course he made it out on spot. Kojima wanted to conclude the story after part 2 but he was forced to work on metal gear because of the popularity. Plus Kojima isn't the only writer. Of course he's the father of metal gear series but I don't think it's all from his own head

It only makes sense him being The Boss's son for him to make the same sacrifice she did. They were true heroes while Naked and Solid snakes were the weapons used to carry out their tasks.

I would like to find out if Solidus was the second Big Boss in Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, which would explain why Big Boss was intact at end of MGS 4. Maybe that's why Solidus had a biomechanical suit in MGS 2, to support his frail body due to the burns he suffered in MG 2 by Solid Snake.

Thanks guys, right in the nostalgia! If you do more videos on MGS I'd like to see more going into the back-stories of certain characters. Like how Raiden got turned into a cyborg and what happened between MGS 2 and 4 (basically, the cancelled version of Rising). Also, the canon-version of how Big Boss met characters like Grey Fox.

Man metal gear 2 was hardest to consider but thnx to ur efforts i now have the story of complete saga ......watching them i just understood the main and major headlines of the story and not the detailed storyline but still it is awesome as i have only played the phantom pain...and as of ur question session i would like 2 ask how did the big boss survive , and some exact details of the third boy and how he was killed..

Thank you so much for this recap, so glad ya did it. Brought back some good gaming memories n cleared some of the fog to the story. A suggestion for your next story recap, Resident Evil. Like recap the story of Umbrella/The Virus's, as there are the main games but the lore/history/story breaks off those with Project:Veronica and the Revelations n it would be nice to see a more fluid storyline, like ya have hear. Anyway, you do you. I enjoy the videos greatly, keep up the good work.

That was just amazing! I'd never seen such an amazing and detailed summary (if you can call it that) of the story. Thank you for this! Having said that, A couple of questions remain unanswered for me: How was Solidus created? How did Big Boss go from being burnt to a crisp on that boat to being perfectly ok at the end? (If that wasn't actually his body, how come Eva risked her like to save it from the flames?) been going crazy over this for the last 9 years or so.
