She is extremely talented and has been excellent at every single style of music she has tried, and her new rock esthetic really fits her even though she has always been a true rocker at heart. She literally grew up around legends like her dad Billy Ray Cyrus and her godmother Dolly Parton and her friends Joan Jett and Stevie Nicks just to name a few... She’s a true artist and has a lot of experience (she has been in the business for 17 years and she is only 28...) you should definitely check out songs from her new album Plastic Hearts which is the number 1 rock album in the country. And you should also check out her live performances like everyone said in the comments!

Or Miley’s single Midnight sky off her recent album called plastic hearts which is rock and 80s disco influenced and has collabs with billy idol, Joan Jett, dua lipa, and even a remix of Miley’s song midnight sky with Stevie nix. Miley’s really evolved hugely I gotta give her props 🙌🏼

Honestly, she should just dump that generic pop crap she’s been doing and embrace her inner rock goddess. I don’t care, anything from Metal to 70’s rock. She pretty much sound like Stevie Nicks here.

I am a REALLY OLD school Metallica fan, as in back in the 1980's. As for Miley doing the vocals here on " Nothing else matters", it is great, and although another guy here on youtube had said that you can hear the "auto-tune", I really can't hear it, and that person had admitted that with Miley's voice "auto tune" is NOT needed. Although Miley had been a POP music star, her voice was NOT created by some computer, or made to "sound good" with help from a computer. She has "great pipes", I had seen her onstage singing a song that "Chris Cornell" had sung, so it had either been a Soundgarden song OR one of Chris's solo songs, and she had held her own, although CC sang it best. Her speaking voice is really HUSKY and low, so, I can totally see her singing this easily. Just watch the video for "Wrecking ball" and you will hear her voice singing in a higher octave, NOT really HIGH, BUT, not as low as she is singing "Nothing else matters". Anyway, she really can sing, NOT just pretend singing like many POP singers do.

Screw KZfaq for putting a non-skippable ad in the middle of the song at the start of the epic guitar solo. That being said, I was dreading listening to this cover when I heard that Miley and Elton John did a cover of Metallica, however, this was a pleasant surprise, their cover is very bad ass and well done, true to the spirit of the original song with just enough of their own flavour to it. I am impressed.

I gave this another listen, and her voice is giving me some STRONG "Stevie Nicks' vibes. Any "younguns" here, Stevie Nicks was in a band called "Fleetwood Mack" back in the 1970's and 1980's". And she had the same husky sound to HER voice as Miley has. I bet Miley could totally cover a song by Fleetwood Mack perfectly, OR a solo Stevie Nicks song. A song by Stevie for example is "Stand back" a FM song is "Gold dust woman", now THAT one gives me goosebumps.
