@@SpammytheHedgehog Anakin warned Obi-Wan to not underestimate him, and Obi-Wan did listen to his padawan well enough. Anakin underestimated the power of form three and the power the high ground had. It had more to do with the fact that Obi-Wan is the ultimate master of form 3 and less that he had an advantage of being on higher ground. The biggest factor is that Obi-Wan was ready for it. He is the master of form 3, he had the advantage of being higher up and the fact that Anakin overestimated his own skills. If you seriously think your skills are superior when they really aren't, then it's maybe time to call it a quits

Obi Wan is one of the best duelist in Star Wars, plus jedi are in general better duelist then sith, because they are calm during battle and that is better then beenig emotiobal like sith, Yoda, Mace, Dooku, Luke, Kenobi, Anaking, Ploe Kun, Cin Dralec, Qui Gun Jin, Shak Ti, etc. all jedi that if you look just lightsaber dueling not force powers are better then most sith, sith also have great duelist like Maul, Bane, Sidious, but in general jedi are better lightsaber dualist, sith are better at force combat powers, and jedi are better at force non combat powers.

So I'm not complaining, there are tons of franchises that are way more strict with copyright stuff, I only bring it up because at 12:03 ish you can see me cracking lol. This video took 49 different versions uploaded, with little automated copyright flags(not bad strikes but couldn't post it) but this took a week before I quit and went for this super slow-mo and a lot of stills style. Never had this problem before, and doesn't seem like something new I uploaded the mos espa vid to test and it was fine, most I've ever seen was 4 flags on the ahsoka vid that came out right when clone wars s7 just came out, still don't know why, but u can hear at around 12:03 where I must have accidentally dragged the audio over too in all the vid scrambling.

Obi-Wan represents, in my opinion, the reality of fatherhood. There is so much you want to do to ensure your child has a good foundation that will carry them successfully through life, yet you have faults and therefore will make mistakes, that and there is so much that you do not know yourself, but in spite of all that, you do the very best you can, and in the end what path your child chooses to follow is ultimately up to them, and all you can do is hope they will choose the right path.

I hate how everybody says that Vader has the most tragic life and all of Star wars but nah Obi-Wan is the true most tragic sad life I mean his master and the love of his life were both killed by the exact same sith Lord the person he viewed as a brother he had to kill essentially he almost did it but he couldn't then looked after that man's son got killed by that man it still has a lot of love and still cares for the children of the man he was killed by and you never see him complaining about it and that's only like a small percentage this man's been through so much that I honestly can't even go over in just a comment section alone

In the movie 2001 movie Moulin Rouge, Ewan Mcgreger's love interest was also named Satine. I always found that to be coincidental and funny. There is a 2001 four comic issue called Jedi Quest. It tells the story about 12-year-old Anakin's 4th year of his Jedi training. He builds his first lightsaber in a cave, fights the illusion of Darth Maul and goes on a rescue mission with Obi-Wan to save Siri Tachi, who is working undercover. Anakin gets captured and comes face to face with a Space Pirate who has a connection to his past. I really hope that Disney will revive the Jedi Quest comic in either live action or animation. That story will always canon in my eyes. Obi-Wan is one who choose to go to Tatooine and refuel the ship, so maybe was meant to become Anakin's mentor. Qui-Gon just found the boy, saw great connection to the force within him and brought Anakin to Obi-Wan.

33:45 Man, the lore really does Mace dirty. They assign him the hardass hardline Jedi viewpoint, but with the saber color coming from your alignment and his personality being _so_ weird for a Jedi, it's obvious he's the single most hardworking "is it better to be born good, or overcome your evil nature through great effort" Jedi at the temple and is only so strict because it's part of his own health. Mace Windu is resisting killing people every two minutes with his whole being and he doesn't get enough appreciation for how he could have totally solved things if he had just a bit more leeway to work with. He hates incompetence and that means he hates everyone around him to some degree and if he ever gave into the way everyone makes him feel he'd totally fall.

I remember general grievous fought obi wan but when he used the spinning lightsaber obi wan was confused but in reality it wouldn't be that hard to kill general grievous he's only a robot u saw what happened his hands got chopped off but what I have been noticing is that if obi would of striked at wrong time general grievous would have killed him or during that scene we're he goes into a 1v1 hand fight I mean he almost threw obi wan off the platform

Yeah but that's because Obi Wan had fought him a lot plus he was the greatest defensive duelist of the time on top of Grievous being weaker due to Mace crushing his lungs.

I remember when Star Wars was full of heart and soul. Ever since Disney bought Lucasfilm, it has truly been soulless. I will never forgive Disney for the way they treated the legacy characters. Especially Luke Skywalker.

@@FoxenASMR Kenobi was an awful piece of shit that had a handful of decent moments in two of the last episodes. Otherwise it was a complete waste that ONLY exists to explain the message in ANH. Lucas always had a plan for SW but at the time could only make one because he wasn't given enough funding for a whole trilogy, it wasn't until the success of ANH that he was given free reign. And this would transfer to the same Prequels you clearly fail to understand if you're going to bring up the sand line while ignoring the fucking context of Anakin's character in both AOTC and TPM. And he didn't really focus on the merchandise as much as he did the movies he directed
